I was extremely chuffed yesterday as the delivery of dd's pretzel sticks arrived. A sensible delivery person left it in the cupboard for us - phew. We discovered these when out in Texas and dd adores them.

    5 bunnies done. Yippee.

5 packets of cheese puff consumed. Oops.

3 litres of water drunk so far.

    Off to sort out buttons...

    Litre 5 started...

Dh has just given me £10 from selling ink cartridges. Go him!

Have spent a silly amount of time on cd/dvd selling websites, entering it all (no clever device with an app here!) then culling to get the best price. 3 places will benefit from my cull, and there were only 4 items that nobody wanted. Now to find boxes...

Dinner is salmon in chili sauce + mashed tato and sw tato.

STILL bleurgh. Sleep is good, but just need so much more of it than my current 8 hours. Neck feels all puffy and fat, so my glands are no doubt joining in. My head is muffled and my throat is tickly and sore. Of course, my nose if continuing its role of world record breaking snot machine. However. This is NOT a real illness. It is a malingering and very pesky cold.

Today I have to go to work. Next academic year, I shall be working full time for most of it, to cover a mat leave in my dept. Having agreed to it, I do wonder how on earth I will cope with it! Anyhow, kids are on study leave as from Monday so I shall use the extra time to prepare all I can for next year, and not spend the extra time faffing about online... Honest!

I have done myself a list of what I want to get done. It is massive. Absolutely huge. mostly administrative stuff: photocopying and scanning and printing out and filing and labelling. All things that will make next year easier if I have everything prepared. And then I'll not be held to ransom by the whims of a functioning/non-functioning photocopier!

Cor, I'm rambling. Sorrrrry! Off to make breakfast.

Yep. It'll soon be time to update the dept handbook and SOW. I usually do it during our internal exam week when I am invigilating. And because I wrote the originals, iy's not too arduous a job.

Until thr spec changes. Yet again...

Today I have chased up a myriad of trip bits and bobs, done some cheeky photocopying ( nooooo, not THAT sort - just not-yet-important stuff), copied 1 exam paper, sent the risk !!! for checking, contacted some parents, taught my last lessons with y12 and 13, taken a bag to SA, and voted.

I have 3 parcels to dispatch tomorrow. Thry are all wrapped + labelled + ready to go. I shall still need to take it easy so may permitmyself to use the buses.... Profligate!
