- cut out some smaller bunnies - just 2, and try making them up

- sort out the lavenders
- cut out some snowmen with bigger heads and slimmer bodies (so, a new pattern, then!)
All in all, a chilling day, no manic diy (although there's a list as long as my arm of possible jobs).
Managed to send dh up to bed early by putting the snooker on the telly, ha ha!
Just seen the forecast for tonight - eek! Now to get the lavenders done...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Lavenders finally sorted! 3 front ones dug up and replanted in the back. I expect them to sulk this year and I shall add insult to their hurt feelings by giving them a jolly good trim in the autumn. And 4 new ones planted in the front, slong with some wildflower seeds/rusk from a pkt from aldee. Plenty of weeding done - a binbag full - and plenty of cuts and scratches on my arms and hands.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

2 more snowmen completed; 5 bunnies cut out and 4 sewn together. Am cracking on with them as, once the stuff arrivers for moderating, bunnies and snowmen will have to take a back seat.
Dd has re-read all our books on the Garden Fairies. And then come and asked if we could have a neater/tidier house as that's what fairies like, and she really wants to see one.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
A frenetic day all round, starting with childcare falling through and ending with a serious road accident that resulted in me driving all round the houses on a detour I've not used in years to get dd. Ooph. Am very pleased to be at home and not working tomorrow.
The cold I started with 10 days ago is STILL here. I have drunk over 4 litres of water today and am producing snot on a massive scale and feel rough, as if I have a chest infection. Humph.
However, all my orals are now done and sent off; I've had my last lesson with y11s; I've chased up paperwork and nearly done the risk assessment for a trip in 2 weeks time. Dd is fed and watered; tea for us big people is egg + chips.
Tomorrow?
- cheerleading
- aldee
- coop?
- post a parcel
- sew up bunnies
- knit
- sweep + hoover
- NO gardening
- NO workoutNST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Sorry you are feeling so rough hun. This cold does seem to be bouncing back on people and bringing real nastiness in the form of ear infections, chest and sinus infections. be gentle with yourself.
I had to giggle at the unfriending. I was briefly at the top of my friends this morning for the first time :rotfl: felt good but the pressure isn't nice. Think I will stick to challenging myselfxx

I haven't even looked aat fitbit tonight! I like to see where I am but actually don't reaaly care where I am on the list. Like yoi, my days vary wildly and it's my personal step count that matters.
Will be off to bed once dd is asleep. So could be hours yet!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Hope you manage a fairly restful day tomorrow and the lingering germs finally leave.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0

Thank you for the well wishes.
Am still rough. Got dd + friend to cheerleading, then caught the bus both to and from aldee - last time I did this was months ago! So, food shop done. Hoover and sweep done and rug removed for washing. Lounge floor looks humungous without it.
All bunnies laid out on floor and 5 noses replaced. 4 sets of arms attached, just 4 bottoms need sewing up.
The trialled small bunny is extemely cute! So will cut out some more to make pairs of 1 big and 1 little, where I have matching fabric.
Am going to put on a Tintin film while I cut out. Luxury!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Sorry to hear you're under the weather. Might sound odd, but it's not hay fever is it?

Hi Tilly. I do get hayfever, and at this time of year when all the white stuff is blossoming (horse chestnut, cow parsley, hawthorn...)but that's just sneezing after being outside. This is hot/cold, aches in limbs and head parts aswell as snot production and sneezes and achey throat.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0
