6oz oats
2oz sunflower and pumpkin seeds

1 small carrot, grated
3 oz melted marg/butter
1 beaten egg
2tbsp milk
1 tbsp tomato pur!e
Good pinch cayenne pepper and mustRd powder
Mix together, put in lined tin (mine is c9" square) gas 4 or 180C for 20 mins
This recipe is amazing!
I am ticked off with my library so am forgoing any visits there for a while until I get over my huff.
Made the savoury flapjacks, then a pizza for dd, then a satay style chickeny thingy for tea.
Have successfully kondo-ed my food cupboard and got rid of eg popcorn from 2007. Probably wasn't going to use it... And some v v v old rice and millet flakes. No fear - I still have a packet of each left!
Moderating got so tricky I was even contacted by the Principal Examiner himself. I feel very honoured! I had to leave that particular centre until I had some answers, so started another. Whilst not as tricky, it's not been straightforward, but should only require stage 2 and not stage 3 ... famous last words...?

Just seen your post, Lilty. Wanna share the MBTs? One each? Then swap feet? What size are you anyway - these are a 6.
Had a mahoosive and extremely helpful message from PearlaMerle re Etsy selling. A lot to ponder. Couldn't even get on to photos today, with the pesky moderating. I will be paid for it - not well, but better than a slap in the face with a wet fish, eh?NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
I was a bizarre 5 and three quarters or something back in the day - I spent... £135 on a pair
Those flapjacks looked amazing. I had to save the recipe too!Is that where you got it from? She/he posted on GP's thread. Land of amazing food!
Well done ref the moderating. A tough job indeed and frightening as it is a direct measurement of you against other teachers as much as it is of the pupils! Must be very nerve wracking! xx

Ah, but I'm the one with the power.... :rotfl: Tho if I disagree with their marks, I do listen once more to check my own marking! And the pesky ones simply don't do what they are supposed to do (teachers) or just over rate what their pupils are saying in foreign. Some are easy and clear-cut. Other aren't.
But it gets me enormously useful experience and I can quote 'when I do marking for the exam board' at the kids
I saw the recipe originally on GP 's thread but think I copied it from your thread. Had to change a few ingredients - bien sur - and have already planned how to do it with dried / real fruit, as I have a few bits to use up. 29p for 6 apricots from the c00p this morning.
Right - Mcgyver is finishing so it is time to put dd to bed.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Tomorrow:
- dance classes (maybe get dh to do)
- finish marking 2 pesky centres plus all associated paperasse
- sort through mmf, pink cmf and sas and get ready'to post off
- sweep
- go and buy running shoes - going into town on a sat afternoon - ugh. But sp0rtsd1rect have a sale...and I need to try on rather than buy online
- photos???
- craft: mice, knitted lavender bags, bunny bits. But ONLY once 2 centres are fully finished
- gather together stuff for sister's bdayNST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
We were all up nice and completely unnecessarily early today. I've done the feedback I wanted to, and sorted out mmf/sas/cmf to send. BUT I've realised that some centres that I thought I had finished, I need to do more marking on. Grr.
So, a new plan: finish the tricky centre that brought me into contact with the great principal examiner himself (quite a task in itself). Then - and only then - shall I set to work on the others that need more work.
Dh is taking dd to dance, so I'll get about 1.5 hours. Let's see how much I can get properly finished off...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Am officially fed up of my pesky centre. Just waiting to hear if I have to re-re-re-mark 6 candidates due to a blimmin wrong title error. What a dippy centre.
So am stopping before my brain slips into zombie mode for the rest of the day.
Looking around the downstairs (open plan so can see it all), it si a right mess. Mostly mine. Some is dd's. None is dh's. But until I finish this moderating i cannot start on it. I have never ever ever been frustrated at not being able to tidy up before. Tis a wondrous new emotion to experience.
So i shall toddle off in awe and wonder with my eyes closed to the mess, and try not to trip up over the shoes, papers, bunnies, books, hot wheels, ironing, bags, bouncy hopper, skates...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Oh is a philistine. He NIBBLED a savoury flapjack and pronounced that he 'wasn't sure' about it.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

I now own apair of running shoes. The trail ones I wanted were too small and some others that fitted were just ugly. So I got bog standard NB runners. No excuse now not to go for a run!
I also visited h&b and acquired some coconut flour, co!!!! oil, protein powder (got me £10 of points with that!) and dried pineapple/papaya for dd. Dh laughed at teh protein powder and I don't blame him really!
Dd has announced that she is having a bath - if we can separate her from 'the laminated book of tears' - and I shall do a little more moderation.
I am pleased to say that 5 of my centres are fully complete; 1 is awaiting a reply from my leader; 1 is problematic; 1 is untouched as yet; 2 need a check and probably more marking.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Reply from leader means another centre is done and dusted. Getting up early to do more on a centre means that that one is also complete and can go in a different pile on the floor.
Leaving: 1 to start; 1 tricky one; 1 with my leader.
May even make it by Weds - the deadline dd has given me!
Talking of dd - can't believe she is still in bed...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0
