Pukka mum - love the makes . Lol at the owls being less scary.

Hi Rosie - hope your cold improves

Macma - love the candy wreath

I managed to make 3 sweet bouquets, 5 snowman soup and 5 mrs Claus milkshakes. Need to put ribbon on them but pleased and I went to a craft shop and didn't get anything. Which I'm amazed at ... Had different things in my hands at different times but ended up with nothing . Promised a friend I'd take them ages ago , so couldn't break a promise.

    Love the wreath Macma
    Beautiful makes Pukkamum.
I've not had time for any stash busting today. I'm trying to figure out ways to save heat using my fabric stash. Need to sort out some curtains and the window quilt idea will probably be stolen by me! Any ideas for insulating ceilings?

I charged 50p and I was still in pocket with the cost of making them. I wanted to raise money for the Blue X. I found that the kiddies loved them and at pocket money prices they soon sold. We were a cottage industry as my DH designed them and cut them out, I just sewed them, 100 no less. I always seem to hate asking to much but you must cost the materials used and the time facto. Are the owls door stops and where did you find the pattern.

Well done everyone - operation scrap busting has most definitely commenced for all of you :)

I still haven't managed to make anything else yet but I did spend last night colouring 48 digi stamped penguins which will be ready for some thank you card sets I want to make to sell on the stall (or alternatively my Christmas Cards if I love them too much - x) :)

Not much used in the way of supplies unless you count ink LOL!
I still have my challenge cards to make for the week if the rest of life doesn't get in the way.

Thanks thats really helpful, the owls are just small ones have added a ribbon to some for hanging, I didnt have a pattern just did it off the top of my head.
I sewed some of the mice by hand but they were taking ages, im not te worlds greatest sewer so my mum has been doing them on the sewing machine and I fill and hand finish so hoping to get loads more done this way.
The owl door stop is a really good idea may pinch it!

Decided to sort all the different areas out that were full of my stash. Moved most of it into the airing cupboard, everything all nice and tidy only to find the stuff I wanted was at the back under a pile of stuff, so I dived in to get it, but ended up with just as big a mess as before I started. A job for me to do again tomorrow.

    Scrapmate- lovely page
    Rosie51- how frustrating for you.

Today I've made 2 quick curtains from fleece and ribbon in my stash and a big draught excluder from fabric, ribbon and 2 old pillows. They are all functional rather than beautiful since I'm just trying to improve insulation of the house as quick as I can with no cost.
I hope I get a chance to start on Christmas stuff soon!
