I've done some crafting today. I'm working on a mixed media canvas. I also started making some embellishments to get some cards done over the weekend. I made a few clay snowflakes- not too many in case I'm not that keen. Nothing finished today so still at 0/500.

I have been reading this thread with interest as I have a whole room dedicated to my crafting! I have so much I swear the room keeps getting smaller:rotfl:
With a friend we have decided to make 50 items each before we can buy any more which is more achievable for me as the craft fairs start again end of Jan and I love going to them.
Today I have made 8 cards which I'm very pleased with as I used a topper sheet to make my nieces card and used what was left on it to make another 2 cards. Normally I would just stick the unused bits back in a box but it felt good to throw the empty carrier sheet in the recycling.
Don't think I'll get any more done this week as making samples for a craft shop the rest of this week.

Well I resisted today thanks to this thread , I had a £5 voucher off a £20 spend at hobbycraft and I did want some things in the sale. But I didn't need them . So I deleted the email and I must be honest feel better about it.

    Hi Beth and dellam

    Jellie- preparation is everything

Dallam - I'm going to follow your lead and instead of using one topper on a sheet I'll use them all thank you

Brilliant Dallam20 - welcome to our happy band. I am also going to try and take a leaf out of your book and use a whole topper sheet rather than just using one for a project and putting the rest back :p

I've put your target down as 50 - please keep us updated on your progress and encourage the rest of us along x

Wow guys - you are all putting me to shame with your crafty efforts. I haven't managed to make anything else yet as just have not had time :)

However I am hoping to sit down now and do a bit as have just got back from a craft fair today and almost run out of friendship teabags (which are one of my biggest sellers) and I have another fair to do tomorrow :)

Dallas- good idea re topper sheet.
Susan- well done on resisting. I live near a h**bycraft and I am used to popping in all the time! I'm planning to avoid it completely or I've no chance of sticking to the challenge!

Canvas almost finished and today I finished my first project in the challenge- a floor cushion. I'm really happy as I used 2 old pillows and some fabric I've had for at least 8 years ready to make into the cushion cover! I'm a novice sewer so I was glad it turned out ok. I'll try and take photos tomorrow.
    499 to go :-)
