Well, it's the last day of 2014 - where has this year gone to? Haven't posted for a while but hope to be on here more often in 2015. Total items made from the stash this year is 610. Okay, many of these were quick'n'easy cards but they all count towards the target of 500. Will add some photos asap. Yes, I did manage some de-stashing but... am writing this from the naughty step as some new stuff did find its way into the craft room! Not sure if this challenge is being repeated for 2015? If so, count me in please. Wishing you all a Happy New Year.#Life isn't about waiting for the storms to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain #We must be willing to let go of the life we planned so as to have the life that is waiting for us #If you focus on what you have left behind, you will never see what lies ahead - Gusteau/RatatouilleGC 2022: £0/£2,500 total spend0

Happy new year stashbusters!
Sorry for my absence for so long but Christmas took over! I had visitors for 10 days in a row and he dreaded lurgy hit our household!!
I can declare a further 16 items towards my 2014 stasbusting total though. I made lots of little joke presents fot a present swap game. I forgot to take pictures but they included air guitar strings, donut seeds, chocolate teapots, stress relief bubble wrap, batteries with sign saying gift not included and a toilet roll snowman.
Sadly I was way off my 2014 target for the year and I also managed to buy lots more stash so I shall be sitting on the naughty step for most of today!
The good news is that this thread will be most definately continuing for 2015. Ive still got a whole room and a large shed filled to the brim with crafty stash not to mention all the other rooms where my stash has seemed to end up!
So I shall start by wishing you a wish for a very happy 2015. May you all be healthy, happy and very crafty!
I shall kick of 2015 stashbusting by declaring my total. I must be mad but...... drum roll please.......... 2015.
I am going to slightly change how I count my projects this year though. As well as counting each item I make, every item I stash bust by donating, selling or just throwing away as can no longer be used is also going to count towards my total.
So whos with me on my 2015 stasbusting journey?Mortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.020 -
I'm also blogging again - thanks to everyone who has contacted me asking about my blog. Please keep reading - I hate talking to myself (although in my household it's the only way I can get any sense!!!!)Mortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.020

I've also started a new challenge for 2015 - Ploughing through the Pins. It aims to actually get me making things which I have pinned to my boards rather than just pinning and dreaming. You can still pin away but the aim of the challenge is that by the end of the year the number of pins you have has decreased and the number of pins you have completed has increased. Anyone fancy joining me on this mission as well?
If so you can find the challenge here:-

Adding one more to my little total. I've finished a denim shopping bag that I started about 6 months ago.0

I didn't think I had done very well on this challenge but once I added everything up, I have found that I made 57 items this year, more than my expected total of 50!
Thank you so much Craftingmad for this thread. Although I have not joined in much, I have read the thread regularly and it has helped give me ideas of things to make and ensured that I have not bought lots of extras (only a few things to finish off projects). My craft room is still full and extending to the landing and other rooms, so there is still a lot of work to do and I will join your 2015 thread with a total of 100 to aim for.

I didn't do too badly - but I too have to admit to being on the naughty step at the end of the year...
I bought a few bits - however I have made a few bits over the last few weeks...
I will be signing up for the new years challenge - and with the exception of glues or threads and notions for sewing projects I intend not to shop (with the exception of vouchers I earn online for amazon)... (For the notions I will have to have started before I actually buy them - and that's only because of the large stash of fabric I need to get through)...
Happy new year to you all...
