  • Hi stashbusters :)

I'm loving all your makes and stash busting efforts - keep up the great work :)

Ems - hope your having a fab holiday and whilst in the craft country you have to purchase - I am certainly intending too when we go back next year :)

Well I seem to have been insanely busy over the last few days. I have had a stall at two different craft fairs and managed to sell £100 of my creations so that makes me feel great AND I've managed to make a further 12 items to add to my total. They were only quick things inbetween fairs to try and top up my stash a bit but every little helps right?

So I made 6 friendship seed packs and 6 bags of happiness so another 12 to add to my total :)

I'm full of cold today though so not sure if I'll get anything done today - feeling very sorry for myself :)

Keep up the stashbusting work :)

  • Well done Craftingmad - I hope your nasty cold takes a hike soon.

I have cheated again......I got my scraps box down and spent yesterday evening punching out spirelli for the local nursery to use for collage......every little 'elps, right ;)

    Go away craftingmad's nasty cold!

    Pixie, not cheating, just creative!

I [STRIKE]got rid of[/STRIKE] stashbusted some stuff - DGS was staying overnight with us and he needed something tartan to wear to school for St Andrew's Day celebrations, starting today. I didn't have much so he ended up with a square of tartan fabric for a hankie (not even hemmed!), and some tartan ribbon as a (very narrow) sash. Just as well he's only just 6 or he might have balked at that, lol.

    I'm counting that as 2!

OK I have decided that as well as our traditional chocolate advent calendars and our activity calendar that this year I will also make advent calendars for each of my kids (girl aged 11 and boy aged 7) as well so please can anyone give me any ideas as to little gifts I can make and or buy to put in them?

I have already come up with money (small coins only), chocolates like reindeers noses, magic reindeer food, pom pom bookmark, box of hugs, Christmas pencils but need more things I can preferable make to put inside.

Your ideas will be much appreciated and hopefully help me stashbust :)

  • How about some origami sized paper and printed off instructions http://www.origami-instructions.com/origami-for-kids.html

Printed out colouring sheets for something they are interested in ( g**gle superheros for example)

I think this is a lovely idea, much better than bought advent calendars:)

    Savings goal £30,000 1% = £300.

Sorry if this has been asked and answered before but I haven't got time to go through 80pages of posts and can't find it when searching.

How do I add photos to my posts? I save pictures to Dropbox and Facebook but not sure how to add them here x
