Hi All, I've been AWOL too recently, getting all the wedding stuff done. I can proudly report that everything is now done and delivered to the reception venue.... wedding is tomorrow, so what's not done now won't be!!! I lost track of what I made in the end, but from memory..... 40 Order of Service cards; 20 menu cards same design as OofS cards; 70 name places, 6 papier mache letters and 1 base board painted and gems stuck on; 7 smaller papier mache numbers painted and gems stuck on, then stuck on to silver pillar candles decorated with gems; 1 wooden LOVE sign painted and gems stuck on to match; the table plan for the reception. All I have to do now is to finish decorating the 'good luck' wooden spoon!

I still have all the other projects to get done but now the wedding stuff is out of the way I can concentrate on those. I'm quite looking forward to getting the sewing machine out again and making some bags or piecing a quilt.... and doing some dolls house stuff.

    1. Make 100 morsbags over year - 28 made (1st March)
    2. Paint and decorate granddaughter's dolls house
3.Make 9 items for dolls house group birthday swaps 2014 - 10 made (11th May)
    4. Name place cards for wedding -FINISHED
    5. Mr & Mrs painted letters for top table at wedding - FINISHED
    6. Dog-themed quilt to raffle for charity in the summer at dog show (August)
7 Finish strip lap quilt (red) - needs quilting and binding
    8. Finish another strip lap quilt (funky colours) - needs quilting and binding
    9. Finish quilt for mum's bed for her birthday (19th Dec) - needs backing, quilting and binding
    10. 6 new cushion covers for lounge
    11. Fragrant wall hanging for my bedroom
    12. Finish cross stitch picture (I will finish one project before starting another) !!
    13. Button covered photo frames (2) for friend's daughter
    14. Miniature Christmas room setting in white candle lamp (for 1st Dec as a Christmas display)
15.Decopatch/button picture frame for friend's birthday (Dec 17th)
16.Decoupage 2 wooden boxes for treasure boxes
    17. Journal in a jar - notebook, pen and loads of questions to answer (daughter for Christmas)
18.Journal in a jar for other daughter
    19. Journal in a jar for sister in law
    20. Journal in a jar for son in law - questions typed on computer
    21. Miniature room setting in box - beach scene
    22. Miniature room setting in box - garden scene
23.Miniature room setting in box - attic scene
24.Miniature room setting in box - not decided yet but got 4 boxes to use up!
    25. Miniature scene made in wooden bread bin
    26. Miniature room setting in breadbin No.2
    27. Paint and recover ottoman (Painted, just needs lid recovering)

I'll add the 7 table numbers, the table plan and the Love sign to my total...

Total now 387 out of 500
Keep Calm and Carry On Kondoing

Loving the necklaces emslovesmickey and well done loopychris on finishing all the wedding things. I hope you enjoy the wedding today and everyone admires your handiwork.

Well I have had a productive day today. My car's starter motor btoke this morning so I have been housebound all day. However I have managed to get up to date with Project Life (I was 9 weeks behind) so I can declare 18 more items completed towards my target.

Hubby is getting stroppy about all my craft stuff again and has banned me from buying more until I have used what I've got. I think because of the size of my craft stash not only I could use all of my craft stash but also both of my children could and still not run out in our lifetimes :) Will it stop me buying more? Probably not but at least with his attitude and this challenge it will make me think a bit more before rushing headlong in :)

    Keep crafting everyone :)

PS - Just noticed I'm now over the 800 mark - wahoo :)

Well I managed to make a couple of bags, a small pouch and a book cover while my sister was up so pictures will appear on my blog soon. I have managed to use some more of my fabric stash but have added to it as she bought me lots of fat quarters from Hobbycraft too for my birthday.... GreenTiger, this is definitely your fault :D At least it wasn't my money this time!

    ziggy - great button pic.
emi bush - I couldn't see the photos.
My sewing machine has a cabinet but I was still worried about dust so I decided to make a cover.

I cut the fabric big enough to fit the sewing machine pedal in as well. Then I decided to make a separate bag for the pedal. Hence pleats in the sewing machine cover for a better fit. No one will see the cover as the machine will be covered up when down in the cabinet. I will take the cover off when I raise the sewing machine to working height. I lined both the cover and the bag.

I am storing the Fat Quarters Packs I bought yesterday on the shelf in my sewing machine cabinet.

loopy, And relax ....... I hope you enjoyed the wedding.

emmi, the fat quarter packs were good value, no matter who bought them.

ziggy, another "Ooooooh!" from me - fab idea for a pic.

florence, good to see you back. You're very skilled to make all these fitted covers. How did you come to have all that matching fabric? Or is that another story?

I'm still crocheting ducks - up to about 33 now, quack, quack!

Just checking in to see how you are all getting on.

I haven't managed to make anything else yet but am hoping that I can finish tidying my craft today in readiness for a day of creating tomorrow.

    Happy crafting everyone xx
