Lovely makes - cushion covers/pictures/cards/stitchery and duck.
I finished making a needlebook. I used fabric to match my other sewing items. I lined the needlebook, couldn't find pink felt so I used some fleece type fabric from my stash.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Well, what a day weatherwise, think we had it all at some point today but hopefully a better day tomorrow (today, lol). Had a few more orders for scrabble frames so have made those today and finally finished off my "rock cottages" and even if I say so myself they look fab - think I may make some bigger cottages for in the plant pots and borders, we have quite a bucket of bigger stones. So another item towards my target

Keep up the great work everyone :T
I can't access your pictures alas, it just takes me to my newsfeed on Facebook.
I am making at work, but not as much as I'd like at home. Although I did make myself a 1960s dress from vintage fabric and the free pattern in this months Sew Mag.
The work room is being shaped, and if only I can organise my time I have a huge, huge stash to work through!
Some pictures are on my blog.http://mooloo61.blogspot.co.uk/2014/06/recycled-creations.html?m=1When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

ziggy - lovely makes. I expect folk are working in gardens/allotments rather than indoors crafting.

Sorry for being Awol. Had computer problems so been reduced to only a tablet which I am really bad at typing on!
All your makes are fantastic. You are all such a talented bunch and put me to shame. Nevermind I enjoy making things and that should be what crafts about I think.
Whilst I have been unable to print anything it has made me realise just how much I rely on my computer to craft with. I have tons of craft cds I have bought but also just as much physical stash which I must try and use as well! Note to self - must uee physical stash as well as digital supplies.
Whilst I have been away I have managed to decorate 39 water bottles which were donated to the kids school fathers day fair. I used some sheets of sticky black vinyl which ive had for a while and cut moustaches from them to decorate the front.
The kids loved all the bits id made and we almost sold all of them so I helped raise a good sum for the school.
Im also declaring a card made from my stash (even though my kids made it) as they used my supplies to make a fathers day card for their daddy. Lots of chipboard letters were used. I wish I could use lots of things up on one project but I just can't seem to bring myself to do it! I worry that all my stadh will be gone for good! Guess im never gonna be stash free
On the plus side I have tidyed my craft room a bit in order to make room for new larger computer so can now find lots more bits and have also been good and thrown away some scraps of papers which I was saving but decided I really dont need to as I have plenty.

Hi everyone
Everyone's makes are fantastic. I had a bit of a break while I was moderating, but I have completed my scrap wool washing line rug - and my son has nicked it to take back to University before I could take a photo!!! It was based on the technique shown below but I would recommend using a cotton line rather than the plastic one I used because it was a bit wavy round the edges as it got big.

Still - can't complain that he took it. He must have liked it to take it back from Wrexham to Lincoln on the train.
At the moment I am using some slubby fashion yarn to knit a new bathroom floor mat. It has been in a bag looking forlorn for years. Don't know what I thought I was going to do with it when I bought it - I just liked the colour. Should look good as a mat though.
I then have some socks to make - size 12's  for my 6'4 Uni son - then I need to have another think. I have been collecting some ideas on Pinterest and will need to have a bit of a stock take of the craft room.
Small confession though - I did just happen to wander by the wool stall in Wrexham Market and some did just happen to throw itself at me saying 'please make me into new cushion covers for your kitchen chairs)I have been soooo good for ages - I just cracked (and I would hate the stall to close because one of their best customers has gone cold turkey!)
Stash Busting Challenge waiting for inspiration:D :j0 -
Well done everyone - some really inspirational makes happening.
OOOOH! Craftingmad, I think you are my long lost identical twin! You and I have very similar stash issues.
I've not posted for a while because I haven't done anything different. That first little yellow ducky now has 20 wee pals! The first few will be setting off into the wide world tomorrow in search of new homes. BTW, despite making those 20+ ducks, I am still on the original 100g ball of yellow wool, so stash is not really shifting.
And I've bought some more fabric for another baby quilt, so that's more stash coming in than going out - at the moment.Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -
And somehow 3 fat quarter bundles fell into my basket in Hobbycraft today - well they were half price, so £6.50 for 6 FQs. It would have been rude not to take them.
In case you're interested, I got a pack with owls, one with dinosaurs and the last one is a red assortment.Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -
Hello all, some lovely things are being made by everyone! I have now packed the majority if my craft stuff into boxes ready for imminent house move although still no date finalised. I am hoping to make a couple more bags from my fabric stash as my sister is coming up for a sewing day on Friday. Will blog them when I've made them and add to my totals.
Happy crafting everyone!Craft BustingCards 21/50Gifts 11/200 -
I've got back into the swing of things a little and made six neckaces today, which i eventually hope to sell. They are based on six of the seven sins
