I have started making story sacks for Church. The total has gone from just a few - I thought - to 32 - then up to 200! Someone has made 3 and I have sewed 7 so 190 to make!

They look good, taking the mickey a bit though expecting 200 of them!!! Crikey, how long will that take you to make all those? Have they supplied you with any fabric.....

I've not achieved anything this past week, must get my finger out and try and do some projets from my list. This lovely weather though makes me want to get out in the garden and work on that instead....

I have some fabric in my stash that I am happy to use. Plus I am getting some fabric from one of the Sunday club leaders. Someone suggested - making the sacks in batches of 10.

Well I've finally managed to finish another item this week! Still in the middle of house move packing etc, but got a bag finished for my mum. Been reading up on people's lovely makes and will try to get something else finished soon!

Just been reading up on a few things. Ziggy, I love the photo frames you've done, looks so simple but very effective! Florenceem, you are doing very well getting with all those bags, I wouldn't have the patience to make that many!


I have just made something I am excited about for my baby boy. I keep seeing cloth books in the shops for babies and I thought they couldn't be too hard top make so yesterday in between feeding I had a go and I am very happy with the result! I've put it on my blog if anyone is interested. Got to try and do a skirt for my little girl and a bag for my sister next!
