Been AWOL with no computer - I don't like it when it has to go home with the engineer - doesn't put me in a good mood. Anyway he brought it back to me today.
    Made some cards.

Well I am beginning to think I like the wet weather - it seems to make me want to craft :)

I have just made 7 "Armchair Referee Kits" ready for the school Father's Day Fair I mentioned. I did have to order whistles to go in them but everything else has been made using my existing craft stock. I bought 50 whistles so hope to make 50 kits to donate to the school.

For those of you wondering all the kit consists of is a red and yellow card (each laminated for extra strength) and a whistle, all placed into a bag with a simple cardboard topper. They are probably not my finest work but they look ok and my kids have said that they would buy them so hopefully the other children will too. And I only plan to charge 50p each for them so hopefully they will raise some funds :) The school children asked for sports themed gifts to buy so thought these would fit in nicely and at the right price.

I've also managed to prep a few more ready to be made up so hopefully should get a few more done before the day is finished.

In the meantime my total is creeping up in the right direction (albeit slowly).

    Keep crafting :)

Been missing in action from the sewing at home due to family commitments, but I made another thermal bag, from a duvet cover in my stash! Just love duvets as there is so much fabric in them, and when it's a donated one even better. http://mooloo61.blogspot.co.uk/2014/05/thermal-bag-design-2.html?m=1
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

Mooloo, your thermal bags are fab.

Floreneceem, lovely cards again. I especially like the lilies.

craftingmad, glad the mojo's back. The needlecases are great. The armchair ref kit is a great idea - lucky school.

Thank you everybody for your lovely comments. The wedding Order of Services did take a lot of time, but I started early so they'd get done in time. I did my eldest daughter's wedding stationery, including the invites, thank you cards, the menus and name place settings, plus the Order of Services, so I wanted to do the same for my youngest. Truly a labour of love...!!!

Not done anything today as been to Ikea - twice! Went this morning, about 10am. Note to self: never, ever go to Ikea again on a rainy, wet day when the kids are off school!!! The place was packed... luckily they were all looking around, we knew what we wanted so went straight to it and were out in half an hour. Unfortunately the unit we bought for the study didn't match the one we already had, completely different wood, so we trundled over there again tonight to return it and buy something else. Also wanted a unit for the kitchen, but on getting it home I seem to have bought the wrong one again!!! So... might need another trip this week, or might just put up with the smaller one I've bought. Once all these units are up I can start rearranging all the rooms, stash and generally have a good tidy up before relatives arrive for the wedding.

I'm loving everyone's crafty makes, and love the way we share and borrow ideas. Keep on making everyone!!

loopychris - I fully understand about the wedding stationery being a labour of love. I made my daughter's seven years ago and now I'll be making my son's for next spring. We know the theme, so it's now about deciding on style, colour etc.

Florenceem - more lovely cards. Are those flowery ones stamped?

Just joined the board. I'm new to card making, and already have huge piles of stuff everywhere. I'm intending to make some cards to sell, so need to convert those piles to cards :-)
Hoping I can get some new tips and make new friends
