I agree with this. My husband who has never bought anything in John Lewis with his card received a voucher last week (intercepted by me) and I haven't received anything although I buy things most months.

Yup, as I thought, wife got a 1 voucher till the end of May. I received nothing (and confirmed that with JL) even though we spent the same amount of money the same amount of times.
Pretty badly thought out. Still, ‘er indoors gets some free cake.

I've never bought anything - got some vouchers early last year but I wasn't able to use them as I was going on holiday that month and have not received any since.

Seems it's pot luck. If I had been sent any more it might have tempted me to visit. Unfortunately I don't live near one so I'd have to make a special trip and a drink and cake would be most welcome when I got there. There is a new John Lewis being built (due Sept 15) which will be just a train ride away, so that will be most welcome.

Same for me, just one voucher to use between now and the end of May. DH got nothing. I've spent some money and used my card, he hasn't used his card. So still no clue how they decide who gets what.
