LameWolf nice to have Mr LW home for a bit next week - do you have any plans?
Sort of - he's got a recipe he wants us to try, that his mum used to make - it's an unspellable (by me at least) French name, but basically it's eggs in a sort of cheese sauce; also I need him to give the deep fat fryer a really good clean; and we need to do a foray over to Mr A at some point, but other than that, nothing special. I'll have a look what's on at the cinema I think - with my CEA card, we only pay for one ticket, and it's cheaper to go on a Tuesday in any case.:money:

Looks like the grass is all done (I can see the back garden from my perch on the sofa) - hopefully that'll be it til spring. :o

 We can give the mower a clean and overhaul while he's off, too.:D

Toots list job done- bathroom lightfitting cover removed, cleaned andreplaced. Given it need stepladders and a screwdriver it's a blimmin' fiddly job but now I can lie in the bath without gazing at insect corpses - for a while at least. I'm posting because I am so pleased I got around to doing it...

mega busy week; PTA fundraiser thursday - so as I'm treasurer I was there. Got a new (and desperately needed) Per Una jumper for work at a bargain price so not all wasted. DD's mate'smum's bodyshop party last night so out then, too.

    Hope HRP is doing as OK as poss Dusty;
Bossy - although I wans't 'here' you were all in my thoughts.

Missing the thread. My house is missing the thread too.

LW we're off to see "Gravity" on Wednesday in 3D and IMAX. I do hope I can last the full 90 minutes as there have been reports of viewers getting motion sickness :D

Apart from that, my get up and go appears to have reinstalled itself. Most strange!

  • Piggers and Fizz busy bisy needles and such lovely gifts!

Valli I agree insect corpses in bathroom lights are a real mission impossible

Managed to crack out the v@x on LR, just did the centre of the room only took 3 hours instead of 6....so very pleased, just hoping EX can get downstairs rads working, so it doesn't take until Spring for the carpet to dry out............I think it is becoming glaringly obvious I don't want to go out in the Utility, but the end of the month and the challenge is approaching

Time for a brew, and then best see what I can do xxx

Thanks lozzy, I didn't see that option because it was actually short bird's post I had reported. This is why I'm a lurker, I'm useless at forums...
    Sorry short bird :o
Unreported now anyway, please carry on!

Zara now you're here stick around, all welcome.

Valli lovely to see you and well done on the light

I've been sorting paperwork all afternoon, making progress but not done entirely but what is left is at least in sensible piles.

This evening I want to finish unpicking the tape from the curtain I stupidly stitched upside down, it is a long and fiddly job.

Updated my festive list and have delegated souring some tasks to DH to reduce my stress a bit.

Also done a bit of dusting of the areas I have cleared in the DR.
