    Morning all

We've all had a much needed lie in. RP has eaten a decent amount (for her) this morning so feel I can relax a bit for a few hours.

Free lisitng on eb@y so I will complete my November Challenge this weekend

Bossy I can feel the relief in your post that the week is over, well done

Starting with 15 minutes of the masses of paperwork before my shower.

One final pan of crabblies boiled late yesterday, so all the trimming and chopping has been finished. I've got about 3pts of extract left to boil up with sugar and the whole event is over for another year, 13kg in total. Minimal flying in the house while it's been going on shows, so I think there will be a little bit of catching up this weekend.

However, while the sun is shining the planting of daff bulbs takes precedence and I think we need to rake a few leaves as well. OH will be tricky about it so I'd best just accept I'll be doing that on my own and get on with it.

I'm not doing well on either of the challenges but but but but but I have, after 10 years and six months of not being able to write a butterfly poem - finally managed it last night. It was a writing assignment set in my first year at uni (v. mature student) and avoiding the cliche of 'mirror image' defeated me, until last night. V happy with very short poem. Now to deal with the rest of that cubic metre in the loft (eek only seven days to go) and still struggling with Chapters 9 to infinity. However, the butterfly poem is done. Yay.
    Better is good enough.

Bad night last night - Sam had shocking earache, headache and was sobbing with pain; nothing I could do apart from hug him. He dozed off about 10.30 but then I was back in with him from 12.50 - 5.00 this morning so we're both very tired. He's looking much better now thankfully but I've got the most horrific bags under my eyes, feel like a zombie and got cramps thanks to the lovely AF. Fab!

Anyhow, flying wise done a load in the WM and just want to tidy up a bit generally. Need to try to go shopping but can get by if needs be but it'll mean I'll have to go tomorrow.

Honey Bear glad you got your poem done! Sound like you've been going great guns with your crab apples. Nice to be out in the garden in the sunshine isn't it - have to make the most of it.

Dusty glad RP ate more today :).

Ionafan you've been so busy with all your decorating and aren't you good to get up early to take DH to the station!

Jazee well done with DD's bedroom.

Bossy glad you've got through your week.

Pigpen jumper looks fab - well done!!

:TThe appetite vibes I've been directing her way must be working. Are you managing to get her tablets into her without too much aggro?

Mumof2 I hope your poor DS feels better soon, earache is the absolute pits.

Oh, and doesn't it come to something, when you have to circumvent the smut filter just to report on what birds are visiting your garden?:D

We've been out and done a few errands, Mr LW cooked egg'n'chips for our dins :A and he's now gone out to (as he puts it) hoover the lawn.:D

If my posts are a bit sporadic next week, don't panic - Mr LW has Monday and Tuesday on leave (he has to use up his leave or he'll lose it) and is wfh on Friday - which is the day Amber arrives.:o

    Afternoon

    daily stuff done
    WM done
    Grapes eaten, yum yum.

Internet connection sorted, seems it was something at the 'exchange sub station' and not here at all, and that was only after others in the area complained, that the 'provider' looked at doing something else.

Welcome to Karen. Hugs to RP, nice to see you back Bossy x

I've had a day or so off because of my measles, extra itchy/tired/achy at the moment so just plodding along. I did manage to go food shopping (big task at the moment with lots of stairs to lug things up to my kitchen!). I also have managed to keep on top of clutter by doing little bits here and there but I need to Fly next week dusting, hoovering etc, I will be taking it easy over this weekend too as I really just need to listen to my body and do it.

My list of jobs for whenever I feel like it:

Make a start on Christmas food list
Clean and organise shoes we took on holiday/organise hall cupboard a bit
    Clean mirrored furniture
HH me time - Get DH to help with hair dye and face mask - I need some pampering!
