Blimey, you're all putting me to shame with your lists of jobs you've done.

I've basically sat down for the last 2 hours... I am going to wash up and dry up again now, so that can finally be crossed off the list. So itchy and horrible with these measles, looking at spa days online to try and cheer myself up...!

Dusty, if Royal Puss had started drinking more a couple of months ago, I would have just put it down to the hot summer, I think.

I have done nothing useful today.
    1) dyed my hair and made a mess in the bathroom
    2) made tea and left a mess in the kitchen.
    3) painted with the children, we are practicing making Christmas cards with hand prints and left a mess on the table
    4) let the kids make a den upstairs to keep them busy while i did my hair and now ds2 is asleep on the sofa with OH and dd and ds1 are asleep next to me in my bed.

Riddled with guilt that I didn't take her to the vet a couple of months ago when she first started going to the water bowl.

I always feel guilty that I didn't do more and should have seen the signs, but all of that is with the wisdom of hindsight. When I read 'Woken by a mog slurping water from the glass by my bed at 5 and couldn't get back to sleep' that you wrote on Sunday morning, I didn't give it a second thought because OH's-cat-when-we-met, the Marvellous M, did that every single morning for several years. She eventually succumbed to something else entirely at the ripe old age of 18. Cats are highly adept at hiding any and all problems; it's just what they do and nothing will change that. Lucky, lucky Royal Paws to have been loved so much by you and DS3, and to be so loved now, when it's needed most.
    Better is good enough.

Actually got all of the 'Tuesday' list done - so proud of myself when feeling this ill!

I also cleaned the kitchen floors very thoroughly, as my kitten helped me clean the kitchen side by smashing one of the dirty mugs on the floor for me. Good really as it motivated me to get the floor done, wash up and dry up, clean sink and draining board, wipe sides down in kitchen, get the washing machine on and have a shower (small piece cut my foot and wanted to wash it to check that it was all out). Nevermind, at least it got me motivated to get off my backside. I'm feeling more and more poorly as the days go on, to be expected I guess but still frustrating.

    Wednesday list:

    [STRIKE]Clean bath
Hoover skirtings and edges in bathroom (get dusty every few days, did clean them today but by tomorrow they will need a hoover no doubt!)[/STRIKE]

Other jobs (that may end up getting carried over all week if I am still ill):

    Clean mirrored furniture in bedroom
Clean and organise shoes we took on holiday/organise hall cupboard a bit
HH me time - Get DH to help with hair dye and face mask - I need some pampering!

katykicker Please take it easy. Measles is a serious illness.

Mum had a trial "meals on wheels" meal today. Tomorrow I have to take her to the dentist with her walker. I'm hoping I can lift it in to my car without hurting my back.

    Dailies done
Car taken to cheap car wash & mini valet as it was minging.
OH has new phone so have been sorting that. (cheaper than old one)

Thanks DanceMum, you too with your back.

I am only doing lots today as after today my DH is off work for at least 3 days (can't exactly remember) so he can do all the other jobs that I may think of as the weeks go on :) I will rest, also, I don't work outside of the home so not job to worry about or anything :)
