Well I've collected the bed. It's not in as good condition as I'd hoped :( and needs a darn good clean. I also think some bits are missing so will need to get it all laid out on the floor when DD's gone to bed or school tomorrow. I'll be gutted if it's no use :(.

Dinner sorted, we eat at 4pm when DH is on night shifts (last one today for a few days - yay!). We are having streaky bacon, bubble & squeak, fried egg, beans on toast. Need to use up the mash, bread, veg and eggs so quite chuffed with myself and DH will go to work feeling full and happy!

Cleaned my hob, washed up, dried up, two lots of washing up left (by the time I've served dinner), cleaned stereo hotspot and just have a small box holding some addresses that need shredding when I watch TV in the lounge next. Have packed DH's lunch for work, wiped fridge over as it needed it and now I'm just slobbing around until dinnertime. Hoping to get a few more jobs done today but my energy levels are very low, good old measles is kicking me in hard!

Update 30 minutes later - got most of the dinner preparations done, kitchen cleaned over, washed up twice, wiped sides, going to go and run the hoover over and clear two more jobs off my list. Think I will be asleep/resting for the rest of the day after this burst of energy but feel so proud of myself that I've been motivated while this ill!

Hope you get the bed sorted Kaz, make sure you file a complaint if not, especially as you've given them £20 instead of the money!

A gentle (((HUG))) for Dusty and pain-free vibes for Royal Paws.

Healing vibes for Faceless Number's woofer; a couple of my canine guests have had cruciate ligament ops, I hope your lad can recover with just the meds he's got.

Talking of canine guests, I'm now dogless til 29th November.:(

:rudolf: The paper stuff is all done - weeded, archived and shredded as appropriate, and the shreddings disposed of. Mr LW even went through his personal stuff last night and handed me things to shred.:T
Just the virtual stuff to finish off now - I need to delete the out of date files off the pc (I have a piece of Freeware called Absolute File Shredder which does this more securely than just deleting it) then completely re-vamp the back-up flash-drive so that the stuff I'm "shredding" off the pc disappears from there as well, thus freeing up some space.

My wrists are mega-ouch today, even with splints on, so Mr LW kindly scrubbed the loo this morning.:A He also went to the surgery to collect his prescription, and amazingly, mine was ready as well! I only emailed the request on Sunday! *falls over in amazement* So we got my morphine as well as his blood pressure meds, thus saving a trip to the chemist on Thursday evening.:T
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

I only gave her £10 in the end as it was quite grimy :o. I believe I can get extra bits from ikea if needed as all the major parts are there. I now just need to remove all the stickers and resultant stickiness!
I haven't brought the car up yet as they were just opening our road when I got home. I can't wait for the road to be finished, it's taking forever! They appear to have finished the pavements but still need to dig up the entire road and relay it. Lord only knows how long that's going to take them!

    Thanks for your continued hugs.

Royal Paws has been in her basket by the aga nearly all days, her eyes are so sad. Riddled with guilt that I didn't take her to the vet a couple of months ago when she first started going to the water bowl.

I've been in the garden all day, couldn't bare to be in the house and I hoped she'd come out too like normal. At least I've had some fresh air and both mine and the neighbours wheelies are full.

Going to make a cake for DS3 now, he is at a friend's but has text to say can I get him earlier as he is still sad. I've got a Gov meeting tonight as well.

Did get some washing dry on the line.
The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair
