Morning all
A houseful of miseries here. All have gone for the day now. Royal Paws seems worse and I'm a sniffling wreck. I need to get a grip and get some things done.
Condensation dealt with so shower next and then either paperwork or cleaning. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Big hugs Dusty; horrid time for you and your family; pets are a real part of the family so this is very painful I know. Not sure what to say but thinking of you ....Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0

Big (((hugs))) Dusty, and a gentle stroke for Royal Paws. I have every sympathy for your feelings and I no longer think of any of my animals as 'Just a ...' They are the part of your family that never, ever lets you down, they know you for who you really are, and love you for being just the way you are. They're cheeky, selfless and always, always there for you. The only price we pay for having all that love and joy in our lives is that it hurts when they leave us. It's worth it, but it is very hard to bear when it happens. Please be gentle with yourself and DS3 today and for as long as it takes.Better is good enough.0

Right, am off to get dressed and will then fold the washing. May have time to get some list work done but not if I don't pull my finger out!
Need to leave here by 11 am to give myself 2 hours to get to bed. As usual am having last minute panics about it being a heap of junk!
Monkeys were sitting discussing how Father Christmas is not real last nightand DS went as far as googling it to prove he is not real .
Cheap year for stockings anyway! If only! DH always feels we will be accused of child neglect if the piles of toys don't take over the entire house and we argue each and every year. Someone had put up a thing on fb the other day saying that people are spending >£320 on kids at Christmas. Everyone who replied was all shocked and outraged but I felt I had to point out that I've spent >£100 on DD's birthday present and she has a jumper, a pair of slippers and a pair of boots  but she's adult size.

Kaz our budget is about £100 a child as well, as they get older it seems you get less for your money.
i have always said he comes if you believe in him, and for those children who go round school upsetting other kids i say to the upset ones of course their parents have to buy him/her presents but as long as you believe he will still visit you. ive managed to stop a few tears at christmas with that answer.
it was only a couple of years ago our eldest put her arm round my shoulder and broke the news to me, (i am a huge believer) she said that none of the kids ever said about not believing as they didnt want to upset me she thought that it was all down to dad as they'd never seen me buy so much as a sheet of wrapping paper or managed to find a present.
i did take it as a huge compliment but Oh how i laughed at the thought that a man could do that much organising,SPC~12 ot 124
