Skinty glad you got the tickets. DS3 loves McFly.
DS3 is very very sad about royal paws and says he just wants her to make Christmas, I have no idea if she will.
Feel a emotionally drained, I know she is a cat and there are dreadful things happening in the world but that kind of makes it worse.
Freezer defrosted, going to tidy up from dinner now.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

She is a member of your family. She is loved by you and loves you in return. She's not just a cat. You've had a tough year and although I'm guessing here but I bet Royal paws has been a great deal of comfort to you. I know my 3 old boy cats (now all gone to rainbow bridge) were a great comfort to me when OH passed away.
Be kind to yourself, they certainly leave paw prints on your heart

I have decided to once again try and keep up with you flyladies!
Dusty so sorry to hear about your cat! I have also had a trip to the vet today with doggus. My news isn't as bad as yours but they think he has ruptured his cruciate ligament.....on anti inflammatories and if it doesn't clear up he has to go in for further investigations. But there is no shame in feeling down, they really do become part of the family!!
Anyway as I am off work this week it seemed a good week to try and get some housework done!
Today I managed:
Clean toilet and sink
Tidy dining room
Check bank accounts
Meter readings
Recycling some paper
Sorting out a mountain of washing
Various dog related vet stuff (including some cuddles for said mopey canine!)
Posted back new contracts
So not a bad start! Hopefully I can continue this all week.....wish me luck0 -
Dusty sorry to hear your news x
Decko Thanks x
Vanilla Glad you get to keep the car x
Mother visited and sorted
Half tap lesson attended
We are trying a meal delivery thing tomorrow for Mum. I think it is quite expensive and she is very fussy.
Towels laundered0 -
Good evening
I am in this week. Thanks Dusty for the lists, and lots of (((hugs))) too.FacelessNumber wrote: »Dusty so sorry to hear about your cat! I have also had a trip to the vet today with doggus. What breed is it? I have a springer and he had an operation for this last year. Hopefully the inflammatories will do the trick.
I managed to clean the downstairs toilet & basin, put on the DW, bake a cake (2 of my little ones had birthdays today - 1 cake, 2 lots of candles!), wash up after, & cook dinner for 6. Table wiped. DH got in at 4pm, so he cleared up & cooked our dinner.0 -
Hi Goodintentions
He is a mixed breed, large dog. Think German shepherd/lurcher/a bit of everything! He seems happier after one dose so fingers crossed they will do the trick! Post-op rest would drive him (and me) nutty!0
