Hi all; I'm in just fluttering this week, if that's ok.:o
GWS vibes for all who need them, and (((HUGS))) for all dealing with heavy hearts or difficult anniversaries and such like - you know who you are.;)
Special healing vibes for Royal Paws (come on, you know me when it comes to furbabies). I actually have a book of spells specially for those of a feline persuasion, so I'll have a look in a bit and see if there's something helpful.:o
Mr LW helped with loads over the weekend, he's moved all the large Dragons and dusted, also moved Herr Beethoven off the bedroom windowsill and gave him a good dust, and moved the sofa and big chair for me to vacuum after Bonnie was collected yesterday; so we're technically ahead this week. This is good, because I'm under strict instructions to do little or nothing today and tomorrow, to save my spoons for tomorrow evening - we're going over to Northampton for a performance of "Nabucco". Not been to the theatre in Northampton before, so hope it's going to be ok. I have a wheelchair space reserved in the theatre, but no idea what parking will be like.
So today I'll be working on my November Challenge. Yesterday we weeded the instruction booklet file, and ditched those for things we no longer have; and also weeded the receipts file; I've shredded the discarded receipts, and now have my personal file out to go through.
Don't worry if I don't post tomorrow - Mr LW's taking a day's annual leave, as we'll need to leave sharp for the theatre (he had leave to use up anyway); and we also have the chap from the double glazing people coming to sort out the hinky lock on the front door (it's still under guarantee), and we need to pop into town to collect Mr LW's meds.
And I'm rambling now, so I shall shut up and go and weed my file.:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Awful news on royal paws, she has kidney failure and vet doesn't think she'll last long. So sad.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

Oh Dusty how sad..
big hugs for you and HRP .. I do hope with medication she can spend some more time with you.
knitted as much as I can of OHs jumper and ran out of wool so have to wait 4 days for delivery of some more.. it is so annoying.. the pattern states 10 balls and this will be 15 I've bought! I was going to do one for DD1's OH but I don't think I can afford the £35 it will cost for more.. it would be cheaper to buy one ready made!

I've managed to:
[STRIKE]Clean bathroom mirror
Clean shower screen
Wash up
Dry up
Fill washing machine and set timer
Clean sides
Get OH's packed lunch ready for work
Feed the cats
Frontline them both (no fleas just been 5 weeks since the last one)[/STRIKE]
Not sure what else I will get done today although I am aiming for:
[STRIKE]2 loads of washing
Dry washing away[/STRIKE]
I'm sitting next to my husband in bed (so I don't disturb him cleaning around the house) and he's snoring away...! Men! Time for the earplugs. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
