Dusty glad your cat is home with you for now; so sorry to hear her prognosis :(

Optimistic Mummy hope bubs behaves and gets settled again in a more comfy place for you.

Vanilla great news about the car!

Pigpen poor little Squeak; hope she's more comfy soon

Been to osteopath today; she said the area around my tail bone (coxyx?) has frozen, especially on the left side and that's why I've been in so much discomfort, especially after running. Got to go back next Monday.

Had DS home from school due to coughing; he was sick earlier because of it so as a consequence I've got diddly squat done - unless you count playing Connect 4, Polar Panic, watching Top Cat and doing 2 jigsaws work ;). Did my 1 paid job; thankfully it's quiet today. Out tonight in the rain and had good news as my parents will unexpectedly be up tomorrow and Weds :T

  • Thank you everyone for your good wishes, I got on the ticket system at 9:00:05, but forgot to ask for password remembering vibes :wall: so spent 3 vital minutes changing my password before best available seats confirmed, so by the time it finally confirmed I had tickets I was up in the stands somewhere.....but one wrong has now been righted....DD2 and DD3 are ecstatic, I am pleased as I booked for Birmingham, so we can see DD1 at Wolves earlier in the day, and if she has a last minute change of heart she can have my ticket, and I can also make a start on bringing some of her heavy bulky winter stuff home for the summer

but with the concert tickets and a hotel for the night, my credit card is well and truly McBusted too! Time to move it onto a 0% offer and then tuck the card away and pray that I don't need to use it anytime soon :money:

It is dark outside, but I may just take torch outside to do meter reads and see where I am with it, before I try some ideas to force the water around the hot water system.....I saw a gritting lorry ambling around this morning, and I am almost sure it wasn't out for a day trip to the seaside:eek: so I am expecting it to be cold

Hugs, sticks and spoons to those desiring a little oomph!
The cold never bothered me anyway

  • Hi all

Dusty so sorry to hear about Royal cat, I'm glad you have sometime to say goodbye to her. Hope DS3 is taking the news as ok as he can.

Both spare rooms have been decluttered. Have a pile of old paperwork to shred. Some has already been shredded. More items placed in carrier bags for the CS.

Some items from my bedroom have also been decluttered. Need to take a dress to a dress agency to see if I can get some pennies to go towards paint & wallpaper.

Microwave cleaned, washing hung on indoor line.

Dancemum just wanted to say I was thinking about you. I hope things ease up on you very soon

  • Dusty i'm glad your cat is home with you.
Pigpen hope squeak is on the mend soon.
skint breeder 5 glad you got the tickets. :D

More washing done here, fire lit, livingroom and hall hovered, stick box filled, meds dosed out to boys, dinner done and DW refilled.

Going to grab a cuppa and then it's clubs and shop. Boys need to sort football kits for tomorrow, some stuff still drying. I want to get their bedroom hoovered before DS3 goes to bed. Then I plan to colour my hair (still haven't got round to it) and have a nice bath. Then book and bed..... :D
Life is short, live it. Love is rare, grab it. Anger is bad, dump it. Fear is awful, face it. Memories are sweet, cherish it.”
  • skinty glad you got the tickets.
