yes even the operators manuals will say its advised to wear safety footwear. so it is not a requirement.
Thank you for pointing this out i will endeavour to clarify if Aldi have a policy on the use of stock moving equipment an protective safety equipment.
Getting an Aldi to answer a telphone is difficult.

they have a safety policy which covers stock moving machinery. They are under no obligation to tell you anything about this if you call them as safety policies are internal policies relating to their staff

It is incorrect to state Berwick on Tweed, being to the north of the River Tweed, is in Scotland. Actually the boundary for a substantial part of its line is indeed the international divide (on OS maps - dash/cross/dash/cross) between the two countries. As it gets to about 5 or 6 miles (I forget the real distance) it turns 90 degrees northwards initially going up the centre of a farm track! It proceeds in a loop around Berwick to the North Sea.
Pre the 1950's? Berwick had it's own police force, consequently beyond it's boundary there was a small bit of Northumberland which could only be reached by the Northumberland Police going through, guess where?....Berwick. They were not allowed to get to their little bit of Northumberland, therefore technically, as neither they nor the Berwick Police or any other force for that matter, had jurisdiction in this area it was 'lawless'.
Berwick Upon Tweed is still one of the few places in the UK that is still undefined in where it belongs

Scotland say it is a Scottish Town
England say its an English Town
Some Berwick residents say they are Scottish
Some Berwick residents say they are English
Berwick Traders Association say they are Scottish

They even celebrate Burns Night on 25th January

    ....

The status of Berwick Upon Tweed has been perfectly well defined for centuries. See the Wales and Berwick Act 1746. Now replaced by the Interepretation Act 1978 I believe.

Berwick Upon Tweed is in England. Granted it has (in the past) been part of Scotland, but then it took some time for the Scottish-English border to be agreed. The Scots once fancied that the border should be much further south and claimed the whole of Northumbria, whilst students of history will know that Edinburgh was an English city for centuries before it became Scottish.

Why is it every time someone replies, the OP has to come back with a smart answer & carries on yaking away about this mindless subject????????????

Do us a favour mate, crawl back under that credit card of yours.

This thread is just going round & round in circles...........

    43 PAGES & WELL OVER 800 REPLIES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and it is now no longer about CC which he has lost that argument, it is now that Aldi are breaking Health and Safety and he thinks he can phone them and they will hand him their full H & S policy

How do you know they don't?

It simple. if i contact Aldi on the telephone or in store and they will either tell me or not. If I present them with evidence of what I consider unsafe use of stock moving equipment and they fail to respond.and If they have their own evidence and refuse to examine and act upon use it then that is a very serious matter.
Then I and any one who agrees has a duty of care should they wish to clarify the legal position with whoever I choose to.

I have experienced Aldis approach to customer care. I have not guessed it i have actually put it to the test and seen it in action.

Aldis response and lack of response to their customers made me ask the question to myself what will be their approach to Health and Safety of their customers and staff.
I have actually observed the staff in Aldi recently because their customer service has put the rest of their operation into focus with me..

Aldi have nothing to worry about have they ?

They offered the £30 voucher about another matter .I accepted. It hasn't arrived

Think of it , if they Aldi Guy is reading this thread ( if he is can he please reply) and reading some of your drivel about his company, do you think he will sanction the £30 Voucher.

I've kinda skimmed most of the utter drivel that is being spouted from the OP. :D:D

If there was an award for the most pointless, mind-numbingly, boring thread, then this would win hands down. :T

OP, have you been buying super glue from your favourite supermarket, as you seem to be fixed to your pc, given the amount of replies you've wrote on here??!!!

Aldi do not sell superglue to Credit Card users unless they have some in stock in their stores in Scotland , parts of South Wales, and Berwick Upon Tweed.in England
