Dint forget the notice on the shop door informing customers they need safety footwear before they enter the store, in case the racers on the pallet trucks lose their loads while racing around the aisles

I was 'told off' for making the same sort of suggestion on another thread :(;)

Well, surely that depends on whether or not they'll be accepting credit cards ?

Yes and it should be a disciplinary matter if staff use equipment without adequate safety training and safety equipment

I did have training and it has been signed off on my training record. It does not say safety shoes must be worn only optional.

    Not necessarilly

They could still start online shopping and only accept Credit Cards in Scotland parts of South Wales and Berwick Upon Tweed in England.

I'm sure online shoppers would accept this and pay using other means

They can set up online shopping and not accept Credit Cards, this is up to them and what agreements they have with card providers.

If they accept the Tweed as the Scottish/English border then the main part of Berwick is actually in Scotland. It may also be the case that the Berwick store falls under the control of the Scottish regional headquarters hence the CC acceptance

Berwick is a little anomaly all of its own. I believe that their football team is the only English team to play is the Scottish league

It is incorrect to state Berwick on Tweed, being to the north of the River Tweed, is in Scotland. Actually the boundary for a substantial part of its line is indeed the international divide (on OS maps - dash/cross/dash/cross) between the two countries. As it gets to about 5 or 6 miles (I forget the real distance) it turns 90 degrees northwards initially going up the centre of a farm track! It proceeds in a loop around Berwick to the North Sea.
Pre the 1950's? Berwick had it's own police force, consequently beyond it's boundary there was a small bit of Northumberland which could only be reached by the Northumberland Police going through, guess where?....Berwick. They were not allowed to get to their little bit of Northumberland, therefore technically, as neither they nor the Berwick Police or any other force for that matter, had jurisdiction in this area it was 'lawless'.
