Here are 2 pictures of cards accepted by Aldi at the Bulwell Nottingham store.

This is the only one on the outside

This one on the checkout aisle and the sharp eyed of you will notice that it is upside down

The Aldi website lists these and includes the word ONLY after them.

I went into the Bulwell Store and met and chatted to The assistant manager to discuss my concerns about an outstanding complaint which prompted this thread.

I have to say that he was a a credit to Aldi and I wish all Aldi staff conducted them selves in such a helpful and professional way.

Its a shame Aldi still have such a poor customer response and operate a geographically biased system for accepting Credit Cards and their website has out of date information regards card symbols they only accept.

yes we have a sign on our door and similar to this

for Diners Club, you have to apply direct to them and the signage they sent is an A4 Diners Club logo which is far too big to stick on door

It you want Aldi to accept credit cards you have to be prepared for them to increase costs to absorb the charges.

I don't think so it will not affect Aldi's margins.

If your assumption is correct then there has to be a case for not accepting them in Scotland parts of South Wales and Berwick Upon Tweed so that prices can be reduced.

If your assumption is correct then whay are Aldi making their customers In England subsidising Credt Card users in Scotland parts of South Wales and Berwick Upon Tweed ?

I doubt it. You don't seem to have done well with getting people to agree with you either. I'm not sure the word smart applies to you as much as you claim/think it does.

I think you are wrong, how many other posters have got so many people hanging off their every word?

OP why not move to the store that does accept credit cards, its a win win situation, you get to shop at Aldi and pay with your card and the store gets a new customer so sales increase.

Also would an Aldi worker on these wages more likely need the use of a pay day loan or a credit card ?.

Sadly if they were based at an Aldi store in England they would be unable to use the Credit Card at the actual Aldi store except for Berwick Upon Tweed

    Poor soul

I actually think that he's working in the marketing department for Aldi.

Think how much a company would have to pay for 27 pages of advertising on a site with the traffic of MSE and they're getting it for free.

Aldi Food stores Ltd occasionally sell hi visibility jackets with their selection of welding rods, fishing rods chain saws and cement mixers.

Have you seen white coats for sale ? in which Aldi region ?

There is not such thing as bad publicity,,
    except for your obituary,

sadly I think we are seeing the death very slowly of Aldi
