I have to ask - do you crack the sandals out for those 2 days of high summer? ;)

Good evening friends new and old (welcome oh lovely artistic pink clogged twice a year one :D I CAN relate to that.)

Well done to Aunty Wik for being super clever :) xxxxx

I am just in from a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong day

I have not you'll be glad to hear 'killed' anyone in my cooking workshop :D although I'm not sure its supposed to be as 'comedy' as it normally turns out.

But we took on the takeaway and we won - although I'm a tad tired - and I wore heels too - how else would I have seen the cooker top? Everyone knows my dodgy making takeaway secrets now.

I have to say though I'm a tad tired, I dunno how nigella does it.

Thanks all for popping in I so appreciate it.

Three things for today to share

The joy of sideways squall meaning that the dogs also despaired about going too far outside. Needless to say today was not a 'walking day'. Ferry's cancelled- say no more.

A nice conversation where I found myself contributing positively and being heard. That's always fun.

Being supported by a friend when they didn't need to help but did anyway. And by friends popping in virtually when you've had a long day which brings a smile to your chops.

Off to have a read and probably not contribute much as me heid is mince, ye ken.

Thank you all for your good vibes regarding job informal chat. It went, I think rather swimmingly and my application is almost finished. Fingers crossed - and if they don't want me, it won't be for my lack of interest/comittment and stuff wot I could bring to the post. It will be because there is someone better - and that's OK. My head has not expanded, its just nice to have a chat with someone and think, yes this sounds good, but if they don't choose me, its because there's someone better for them.

    :D

As I'd reply to my grannie - who wants a fish.

Amazing what rolling a decent spring roll can do for a persons inner hobbit. :D

    Waves!

It's so lovely hearing you sound so positive.

Yay to "comedic" cookery but boo to sideways wind. Good job you've got sensible hounds. :)
