  • Do you know, earth is populated by a vast number of folk now. I cannot even begin to imagine how many in total. But do you know what, Dear Friends and Readers of Pippi's thread, I could think of only ONE person, when I clapped eyes on THIS just now.....

Bally good job from an MSE perspective that they've not yet thought to supply in anything other than hulking great chap-sized sizes...... :D

Can't believe anyone polishes their fridge! An alternative might be to decorate it - you can buy fridge decals in a whole range of designs, including rainbow stripes, or a red 'phone box or a tardis! That should also protect the front so that if you wanted to sell later you could remove stickers and it would still look good. Our fridge-freezer (which I was given for free about 10 years ago now) has a big picture of penguins jumping off an iceberg.

That's a genius idea! Thank you!

I meant to say thank you to everyone for all your hugs and good wishes. Life goes on eh? Of course we all want our loved ones to live forever in good health, but since that's not possible then a long active life and a quick death is about as good as it gets I think.

Its a lovely way to look at it. And we're all still thinking of you:A

  • HAPPY BIRTHDAY GORGEOUS STRIPEY ONE! - May there be MUCH cheese (Seriously, why does MSE not have a cheese smiley?) and fingers crossed for TRG making it up too. :T:T:D

Lovely looking toast there Greying! :T

So far I have to say - a conker tree and a bunch of rasps. But no more cheese.

I may need to review my birthday rules book :);)

    TRG is on the boat.

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY OH STRIPEY ONE!

May your days be filled with trees to hug & you belly full of yummy grub!

Wishing you a fabulously adventurous year ahead!

    XOXOX

(ps - on the cheese front - the boss man brought back a wheel of normandie camembert from his holiday for me to share with the OH - it's been hidden in the fridge, but the ripeness might just give it away!)

Ooooh on the cheese front and the belly front!

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

A fabulous adventure year would be fun.

And we too have camenbert in fridge - its a bit chilli'sh and very yummy.

Late to the party. Sorry but

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY PIPPI

love the note left by DD.

I also wondered about cheese. Didn't TRG bring some birthday cheese back from Norway last year??

Glad to hear you have had a lovely day. I'm sorry to say I can't beat Greying's lovely present. Home made breakfast. What a lovely thought x

  • Morning lands!

Caz - I didn't know that I'll go off and like them now :) thank you!

Starnac - aw thanks lovely and yup nowt nicer than a lovely bit of toast in the morning.

As Dougal (faithful dog of the Magic Roundabout) says ' No time for toast Florence, NOTHINGS that serious.'

[Whilst Florence was in a panic about someone stealing all the flowers in the garden]

    Morning lands.

I've done the banks and its not pretty.

A fair bit of work stuff to do over next few days and working on Saturday too.

MUST DO EXPENSE AND INVOICE TODAY.

Had a quiet night last night and TRG and Bro treated to a chinese.

Lots of that left so the guys are sorted for tea today as well.

Must relook at that list and write a new one.

Yesterday I paid the deposit and a chunk to the move (to lessen the blow of a whole move bill all at once)

so that is £500 to the cc - I know its a lot and I'll clear it when i get paid but sheesh its going a bit backwards at the mo.

Money paid to move 500 of the minus
Money got for selling a few bits 130 on the positive

So I guess we're only really 370 on the minus.

    Still hurts though!
