Sounded good on the radio today Pippi, Made me sing the womble song all the way to work !

:rotfl: My boss at the learning factory said 'geez lass I kent you cud tak fast but gee whizz.

    :o
:rotfl: at seeds trays and strimmers, and good common sense there about the fridge - no point in keeping a fridge you don't like, so accept them leaving it with a gracious smile and them SELL SELL SELL! :D Those American things fetch good prices I believe and no, absolutely with you on not polishing a fridge...as you'd know if you could see mine. *coughs*

Glad that dresser's coming up well -I had a feeling it might, it's just got that solid sort of look to it.

Mara - Womble Song will for ever more remind me of a "certain person's" wedding...! :D

I'm glad we're on the same page with the fridge polishing.

    :T

I do like a bit of womble song espesh when in a posh frock.

    How's your cheese collection coming.

    I'm down to my last 4 types.

So today's been productive but grumpy I think best sums it up.

Raked some grub out the freezer and me 'grannie's chicken' - her recipe no her chicken you understand, is in the oven - I kinda provencale type of thing with the tatties also lobbed in.

Didn't have a tin of tomatoes so used half a jar of valuu salsa - which I feel is genius as its ready chopped and seasoned

    :)

    BIL coming round later.

Got a bit to do still but still some me time the now.

So this month will be under budget but not as good as it could have been.

Still got cupboards to munch through but they're looking guy bare. I've emptied the food dresser and have a basket of bits and bobs.

Some fish and a tiny bit meat/veg in freezer, some bread/milk and that's it really.

    Progress I guess.

And you put it in my favourite mug :)

Thank you very much - a cooked breakfast :) how lovely.

I'm home alone - DD has an early study class and TRG is currently waiting for the flat to be valued today after a good poking and prodding.

I'm looking at the sleeping hounds. Neither seems to be on toast duty.

    :rotfl:

TRG might put in an appearance later tonight - fingers crossed.

DD left a tree and a bunch of raspberry canes down stairs with a note which read.

'Happy Birthday - PS any idea how hard it is to hide a freaking tree in your bedroom?'

Dear girl I thank you for that. I'm really touched you thought of me today as I know you're very busy with family things.

    Thinking of you all too.
