Waves not on shift today.
Dd was out at her first proper party so I like a good mum did as told and tottled off to bed.
Ears half to the ground, as you do (I've read about this in books, parents who worry) - so once in I woke up and struggled to get back to sleep.
:-)
Need coffee now.
Off to google removing gloss paint from wooden chest - its thin layer and on an old dresser. Don't really want use nasty chemical stuff, but will have a look.
Don't want sand either as it's really old and prob lead paint.
Ponders enroute to kettle, shout if you wnt anything.

I'll have a cuppa if you've got the kettle on. How was DD's party? I don't think I would sleep properly either
Hope you have a quiet day planned today?Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
Aw thanks I've lobbed one over in a suitable container.
Today well a bit of work, trying ot find somehting to take that paint of the dresser, more packing some stuff to recycling/tip (car is loaded to bursting) and aside that lot a pottery kinda a day.
She's not the most social of gals so I think she's had fun and is off out tonight too.
Banks are mcsqueakybeaky.
Fingers crossed we survive til the invoice money is in (I'm sure we will)
And I've to do a food inventory and meal (ish) plan.
All the food cupboard is emptied into a basket and I've moved that big dresser through, it needs a thorough hoover out and a clean and a wax and then I'll shove 'bulky but low weight things' in the drawers and clingfilm it.
I had to go out and by the 'moving clingfilm' = whilst I don't normally use much of it these days, its good for wrapping furniture up to avoid drawers popping out and stuff going everywhere - also protects the wood.
Off to local DIY store with my 'drawers' later to see how they can help me repair them to their former glory.
And now I've written that down, it sounded so much better in my head.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Greying lovely you do make me giggle.
Thank you!
Now where did yesterday go?
Oh yes a frenzy of diy and 14 polished drawers later (the handles not any bottoms) and a late supper.
And haviers as always in blog land.
So a hearty good morning to you all.
Yesterday saw a car load of 'recycling' gone to the tip/womble HQ
A wee bit of reduced shopping £5.17 (meat and chicken, milk)
A box of free eggs
And a visit to my old chookies (who've found a duck friend also on havier blog)
DD did some driving (less than three weeks til test, which is after exams eek)
More tidying this am - a friend coming to help with me drawers and I've got more driving to do.
Hope you're all well? Coffee's on the go here and a few pancakes if required.
Hands up for any of those lobbed in your direction - whilst eggs are free pancakes are a plenty.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

So big decisions here
I'm not going to meal plan atm as I've the garage to sort out and it will only distract me if i start pondering food.
Making pancakes is however also a distraction so I'm also stopping that too.
Coffee and a garage here I come.
No food related nonsense for me til I'm done
I'm shamefully away to count my seed trays
I'm guessing about 23
It might be a wee bit more.
