    Banks are squeaky.

One has 18 quid in it.

    T'other has £36

    Put £5 to the cards.

(Wine money, as is my routine).

Don't need much got lots grub in, milk and bread too and child benefit be in bank soon in case dd need to rob me.

    Must update cards etc.

    :)

Also must find out when I can invoice as we're at a 'payment' waiting stage from our main funder.

Stuff to do today - some work, some not. I'm still feeling meh-ish, I'm supposed to be meeting up with a chum but I'm in CBA'd mode.

    Might cancel. We'll see.

I'm also juggling diary now that I know when DD will be leaving so I might be able to 'shave' a week off my leaving date, if I want to. Just means rejigging my hours a bit but the month is busy anyway so I won't lose hours, I just want to get 'new lifing it' soon.

    Ponders.

  • Half a day at the coal face done.
    One driving lesson done
One giggle on the phone done (thanks Wik)
    One long walk done

Home fires on (freezing here) so using free wood and about to have a 'pottery' work/life kinda afternoon.

I feel a declutter coming on.

Nowt back from mover man but then again its been all of 3 hours.

    :D

I also think I've just negotiated keeping my normal hours until the end of June (was due to finish at end of May and reduce to one day week from four) - will write email to confirm that's whats been agreed.

An extra full months wage would be nice now wouldn't it.

  • Wouldn't it.

I've just been brave and sent the email to them all to say just that that I'm happy to keep on through June if needed but will drop down hours once they've got someone appointed.

    Scary (but good) biscuits.

And of course it would help cover the move.

Well that's about sealed the deal then eh? That handy to know and I know of folks in Fife wanting pianos - would it be OK to put them in touch? I'll not do anything til I hear :)

Of course, he'd be delighted! This is him: http://eastneukpianos.co.uk/ - his name's Iain Ovenstone and he's married to my husband's niece. Due to the unique way that Mr Minx's brothers are spread out age-wise, they're roughly the same age as me and Mr Minx! Iain's a lovely guy and a very good tuner.
  • And one box of stuff decluttered in the kitchen.

I'm also mulling the cake/loaf tins.

So they're on the side, scowling at me.

A-ha! Knew it'd be me getting the wrong end of the proverbial, but thought the end of May had an importance in there somewhere, so I ain't as confeewswed as I fort I was - I fink ;)

I've just found a new way to use my bread tins, (erm for making bread - just not in a loaf shape. This sentence made sense when I started it in my head....... ) So, anyway, they've won themselves a reprieve :T
