Can I ask what CIS is ?
TIA0 -
Its the Central Computer System, everybody who has a NINO in the UK is on there or should be on there, its shows their date of birth, addresses, people to whom they are linked with benefit wise and benefits claimed or claiming, and rates paid etc etc
Everybody who processes benefits has access to it but must have a business need to access an account on there.
Usually it shows WTC or CTC in payment, or if ended, the date of the new revised award.
The processor can call HMRC to query the end date but only if the query can not be answered by what is shown in CIS.0 -
Update.
I phoned working tax credit and my last payment was 30/07/2013, award notice requested, and I should receive this within 2 weeks.
I then phoned ESA
I am in receipt of Contribution ESA
They see the error of WTC supposedly still in payment.
He would not request a call back from the mortgage department.
I was told to send them a covering letter with my award notice from working tax credit to show when it ended.
They said my benefit was adjusted on12/11/13 because wrag stops after 365 days. I am in the support group.
Im waiting for a call back.
I dont know what to do, do we ask for ESA IR or claim Income support.
Thank you so very much once again.0 -
To get mortgage help you would have had to fill in an MI12 mortgage form and an ESA3 form.
.
I did fill out these forms months ago
I clearly now remember doing it because the letter said my money would stop if I didnt..I'm in a right state with it all today,I'm getting very stressed.0 -
Another update.
They did not call back so I rang them again, this time to be told that they could now see that WTC stopped and any arrears would be paid within the next six days.
I asked them when they received my ESA3 form and my MI12 form because like I said in an earlier post I remember sending them back completed. I know also know my lender returned their part to.
They received my MI12 form on the 22nd of July.
I am totally exhausted now and just feel there will be no end to this nightmare I feel trapped in.
What does this mean ?
Should they have changed my claim from contributions ti income related in July.
I know you most be very busy people and I truly appreciate all the help you have all ready, kindly given to me but Im so confused I cant help but sit and cry and hope you will help me again.0 -
Dealing with the DWP is awful even when you are ill in only a physical way so please try to take it easy and try not to let it get on top of you. Easy to say I know, but if I could I'd come and give you a big fat hug. (((((((((((((hug))))))))))))) best I can do.
There will be an end to it all. It will get sorted out - will take a little time and hopefully you will get all your missing benefits updated and paid in the next few weeks.0 -
WTC then has been stopping you getting your top up for your partner and mortgage payments, I was sure this was the case, not good though
They thought WTC was in payment when it clearly was not
because of this
They have been knocking the income based element off your claim when they should have been paying it to you
you are owed £36.35 per week for your partner
and £41.89 per week
mortgage from the end of July to date.
which if they said you will get in six days you should.
arrears for your partner should go in with your next payment now,
for your mortgage it may take a little longer, but the mortgage section do take call backs they have their own Hott team, so if you dont hear about your mortgage please ask again for a call back.
Its been a hard slog, but you sorted it in the end, just so sad it caused so much stress to you
Your ESA claim is made up of two elements Conts and Income Related
Conts for your self IR for your partner and mortgage.
IR goes on household income because they thought you had more money coming into the household then you actually did they didnt pay you the IR part, now they know they are wrong they will pay you the arrears of the IR bit because they owe you it0 -

But if I could just pick your wonderful brains a little more would you mind ?
The mortgage interest that they owe us, will that be paid to my husband and I ?
And then they will pay our lender direct or will we receive it to pay them.
Thank you once again.0 -
You have filled in your MI12 so they should hold the details on your mortgage, payment will go to your lender, all mortgage payments go directly to the lender
but to be sure now you have got to the bottom of it, if you don't hear anything in a week or so then ring again and insist on a call back from the mortgage team.
My only little niggle is the mortgage team assessed your claim to how much you should get towards the cost of your mortgage, but this of course wasn't paid because of the WTC, but SMI should be backdated to July as its ESAs error for not paying it.
Because of the mix up they may have filed your MI12 in your case papers, so it may take a little longer then the arrears for your partner as case papers are not held on the sections but in storage and can take a few days to get....
So may be worth chasing to check all is ok and they do have your MI12, because the worse case scenario they may have to send you a new one if the don't, but I doubt this
should happen0
