    RC do you recommend those of us with pending CISAS cases regarding the change in T&Cs to send this template?

    Thanks.

    Not the template, but do contact them - see post #800 on the change in T&Cs forum.

    I have just used your template letter to contact EE. Thank you for this, will let you know how it goes!

    I can't believe that I will be paying £36.95 for 750mb (Thats with 250mb free) of data after this increase, when new contracts I could get;

    10gB for £37.99
    4 gB for £32.99

    How on earth is a price rise justifiable???

    Three do unlimited data for £12.90 a month, and promise to switch you to 4G as it becomes available for FREE. I think Giff Gaff and Libra are in the same ball park too. But that is SIM only - which you may be able to move to shortly ;)

    Cheers for this, will be the first and last time I use EE. It will teach me for going with a provider as they have exclusives on the phone I want.

    Hopefully if this pans out I can move across to giffgaff, I was with o2 for around 10 years with no issues. I guess that I will now sit back, relax and wait for a reply from EE!

    Giffgaff only offer unlimited 3G and 4G has a cap of 2gb I believe.

    By using CPI rather than RPI the increase applied to my account is 58.8% higher than it would otherwise be.

    Surely you mean "RPI rather than CPI"?

    Given the EU legislation governing telecom terms changes (price rises IS a term amendment) it is Ofcom that has been sending us to ADR all these years when the law is clearly defined in Europe ANY change means you can cancel, it is Ofcom as the UK Member State telecoms regulator who are responsible to ensure telcos meet with EU legislation of 2002.

    Thus failure to do so by Ofcom should have you all at your MP's with complaints to Secretary of Culture, Media and Sport & your EU MP that Ofcom has allowed such practices to continue with its licence holders from 2002. Ofcom has broken European Directives - a enforced NOT optional ACT of EU LAW on Member States.

    12 years of us Telco consumers RIPPED off, well unlucky for some Ofcom it wont be 13 years.
    SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe ;)
  • I haven't been notified by EE of the price rise yet, do you think it is too early to send an email to EE saying I want to terminate my contract?
