and doing that for the 60 listed on the comparator site, searching and finding the account, reading and understanding every term and condition - takes how long.

Sorry, forgot this wasn't an advice board, you should never ask a question or gleam from others experiences....

what i find on forums is some people merely like to boost their post count so as to improve their virtual status ;)

there isnt 60 reg savers worth considering unless u are a "carpet bagger" only less than a handfull of top paying ongoing regular savers, my advice is to look at the rate of interest first, saves a lot of wasted time. ;)

from experience comparison sites tend to list the highest paying accounts first, so no need to waste time going through loads of listing, hope u find this info usefull, would be nice to be thanked for this post as im hoping to catch you up for thanked posts albeit out of significantly less posts posted

Looking back through, it's hard/sad to see what some members actually contributed to this thread and if they didn't have anything helpful to add, why trash someone elses post.
You may recall that my answer to your original question DID give you an answer:
    http://www.moneyfacts.co.uk/default.aspx
    remember?
The fact that it was the answer you already knew about should not prevent you from thanking me as well.
Think of BLF and my posts to you as being intended to help. (You can feed a man for a day by giving him a fish. You can feed a man for life by giving him a fishing net.)
......... and do, please, lighten up. If you can't take a laugh, don't expose yourself in public.

As your theory, so long as you have a PC, connected to the internet, then you don't need to ask any question?!

As for laugh...humor and bullying are two different things.

Anyway, this will be my last comment on this thread. I have better things to do.

RayWolfe and BristolLeedsFans sole advice can be summed up in a few words - "don't be lazy, I am not going to help you, look yourself".

Why its taken so many posts for them to get that across I don't know. If they are trying to boost their post and thanks count by pointlesslly posting and then thanking each other, that is extremely sad!

Some of us don't even look at the numbers of posts or the numbers of thanks. We don't have to as we know that we have helped people and not just tried to be as big a hinderance as they can.

I have been looking at this sticky thread by Kazza242 on the ISAs board

Mini Cash ISAs: The Best ISAs currently available List
    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=401374

which seems extremely useful and helpful.

Why don't we do the same thing for regular savings accounts? We could also include a section on best feeder accounts.

Regular Savings Accounts: The Best Currently Available List!

I would be happy to do it. (Of course if a more experienced poster wishes to then I would let them do it.)

What do you think? Do you think this would be worthwhile or a waste of time? Would the moderators be happy to keep it as a sticky? I can see there is a sticky article above but it does not really cover this.

opening a new alliance and leicester current account to get their 12% regular saver is also an option. Max £250 per month, account matures after a year. Can use the current account to feed some of the regular savers each month. Money is locked away for the year though, with no withdrawal possibilities. Can get referral money for signing up to the current account as well (eg via quidco or refer a friend scheme).
Indecision is the key to flexibility :)

halifax and abbey also have similar 7% regular savers, £250 max per month saving, money can't be withdrawn during the term. Halifax account matures after a year, Abbey converts to a lower rate after the first year so you need to request to close it.

I give up, you poor benighted fellow!
My first post to you, the second in this thread, told you exactly where to get the information you were looking for. So it took precisely one post to get you to the present position!
Rest assured that your future requests for help will not be answered by me.

    As for johnmoney05, your comment:

The question was answered in the second post. Go on, go back and read it. Go back also, and tell me the post number of the help on this subject you have given to the OP. Oh, I forgot, you said you weren't interested any more.
But, OTOH you are reading this:
    Cheers
