There is another account if you have tonnes of money and despite all the above accounts you want to put away another £1,000 per month then check out Monmouthshire BS's offering paying 6.5% interest (variable):

1. Do you own a house? Is it mortgaged?
2. Are you married?
3. How much income you earn each month? Your partner?
4. How much savings you have?
5. How many credit cards you have?
6. How many current account you have?
Might have more question to ask....

nope look at first thread any u will c OP is "stphnstevey"
raywolfe was trying to say that all top paying accounts get released to comparison sites unless its a product that an institution wants to only let its local branch customers know about so easier and quicker for someone ( esp a " ever so regular money saver" ) to visit a comparison site than post on here and wait for same answers as they would get from a comparison site.0 -
johnmoney05,
bristolleedsfan & I were very gently joshing stphnstevey for being a bit lazy, that's all. It was a joke.
Sometimes it gets a bit intense here and steam is let off. stphnstevey knows where to look and he's not a newbie. Now he will look and give us all some feedback on all the gems out there ... or maybe not.0 -

God, I see community spirit is dead then!
I did look before posting, but it's looking like there aren't any obvious RS out there paying better than maybe the ICICI 6% range (when you take into account the drip feed).
What I was after was exactly what Special Saver 2 posted. He pointed out the the 'little gems' which although their rates might not be the best, their 'special conditions' make them worthwhile.
Shame it takes a newbie to answer a question whilst, allegedly more experienced members waste the majority of the thread with imature jibes, when they could be helping others. Looking back through, it's hard/sad to see what some members actually contributed to this thread and if they didn't have anything helpful to add, why trash someone elses post. I am glad I am not a newbie myself as these type of comments might well have encouraged me its not worth posting here - and that would have been a shame.0 -

OP is entitled to raise his question here, and he is expecting other people to answer his question rather than tell him to find his own answer. This is the main purpose of this site. (one helping each other)
If you and bristolleedsfan think his question is not worth to answer, then you can just ignore it rather than tell him to find his own answer. And I believe it will help this site become better. I am sure all of us know what bullying means.0 -

theres nothing scientific, after results come up you click on details to find any "special conditions", by which time u will know if its a "gem", for extended further info put name of building society into google to gain web page link to the building society concerned.0
