If anyone's interested in gas ones, Aldi had one on special last week - full size (approx 7 or 8 feet) for £99. May still have some left.
I really must stop loafing and get back to work...

If anyone is interested in a patio heater, Woolworths is selling one at £40 (worth £99.99)

  • Woolworths in Imperial Park, Bristol, had these today (quite a few on shelf)...
Electric patio heaters (can also be used indoors they say). Don't know if it a nationwide thing, but I guess it should be:
Were originally £99, then half price to £49.99, now half price again to £24.99.
Just bought one - so hope they are OK!

  • hi

can you tell me if they are table top/ mid height or tall thanks
    cc.£4265.
    loans!!!
    stay focused!!!

  • They are tall (freestanding) but appear to be variable height-adjustable from the picture on the box. Not sure if you could make it short enough to go on top of a table.
It's in the boot of my car now (I am at work) but I will be trying it out tonight so can update you more tomorrow!

 Thanks for this FE - but but doesn't seem to be national. Just checked with local Woolies (Big W in Newcastle upon Tyne) and they are selling them for 39.99  so you got a good deal. Suppose its still not too bad a price tho. Plenty in stock too in case anyone was interested.

Can you post on here your thoughts when you've tried it please.

  • Will do.

If anyone wants one and can't get in your part of the counrty I could get it and send it on (if stock still available) but dunno if it would be worth it with postage on top.........

Saw these too in my local Big W at Rotherham, but they are also £39.99. Think I'd have had one at £25 though !!!
  • OK - put it together last nite (easy job). Couldn't try it outside as it was hissing it down with rain, but tried it indoors and it seems to generate fair amount of heat. Probably not as much as my mates' gas ones, but then again it was a fraction of the price, takes up less room, and you don't have to go get gas refills.....guess you pay your money & take your choice!
As I plan to use it in my 'summerhouse/spa/gym' (AKA garage conversion) when I'm not using it on the patio, I am pretty pleased for the dosh......
As to height question, it is telescopic, but doesn't really go small enough to use on table-top - freestanding it will be ideal.
    Cheers all!

  • These patio heaters are now £29.99 in woolworths in swadlincote, I hesitated today and would like to know if anyone who has bought one rates them?

They are also for sale in Lidl at the same price with 3 year guarantee though they look the same they are different brand name.

    Any reviews appreciated Ta
