For all you folk who missed out on this one, I found an alternative at John Lewis and at only £30. Apparently this one is by far more economic and less draining on energy.

For those who have Makro cards, this same heater is £47 (inc VAT). BTW, the Tansun Algarve heaters also come in 2KW in four colours. Homebase is the cheapest at 129.99 compared to the web.

Makro and Costco both accept memberships for professional associations. If its not listed ask them if they will accept it as there are normally some excellent bargains (if you remember the VAT) most times....
