If anyone is interested in a patio heater for the cool summer evenings, Woolworths have this one at £50 which is half price.
They are also currently doing an offer in their stores where there is an extra 10% off and they are on buy 2 get one free. This gives a great bargin of 3 for £90

By far the cheapest I have seen around, and it is much much cheaper to run than the gas alternatives.
I picked one up last night, and the heat it gives out is excellent.
I also did a search on ebay, and people are selling them for £65 + 15 P&P!! Again it shows that ebay is not necessarily the bargin everybody makes it out to be.

This is a stunning bargain, I also saw this in Woolies yesterday too and am very tempted. I previously looked at the Algarve patio heater in homebase which is £130. It only goes up to 1.3kw heat whereas this baby offers 3 settings and goes right up to 2kw !!!!. They are very cheap to run too (apparantly about 20p per hour on 2kw) Also this one is on a pedestal stand that you can raise and lower and take inside for the winter etc. The Homebase one is literally just a standalone unit that you are supposed to screw permanently to your home above the patio area.
All things considered this unit at £49.99 has to be one of the bargains of the year - yep Ive convinced myself Im off to woolies :-)Happy to help :-)0 -
I too looked at the one in homebase, but as you said, it was only 1.3kw compared to this one with 2kw. Having taken the one from woolies outside last night, I would definately not want one less than 2kw.0

I bought one of those electric patio heaters last year and it was very good. We used it a lot, very cheap to use and not heavy to move around. You just have to make sure you have an electric socket nearby to plug it in.0

Do you know how long this offer is on for? I will need one in couple of weeks, but right now don't have storage space to keep this. The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket. :rolleyes:0

I have no idea how long the offer is on for but they seemed to have quite a few in stock when I went.
I know what you mean about cable length dollybird. I thought I was going to have to buy an extension cable for outside, however the cable it comes with is 5m, I think, and it easily reaches far enough into our garden.0 -
Dont forget to get a powerbreaker as well0

Couldn't find it online via the link - only more expensive ones.0
