No, the new sim would be disconnected so she will probably loose the £10. You would be best off using that sim (For entering comps or something) and getting a new o2 sim to do it.

Thanks, just realised she will only get £7 back so not worth using the £10 sim. I think i have an old O2 sim kicking about - she can use that one instead

Make sure the old sim is a new sim if you know what i mean? You cant have used the sim before.

i requested some sim cards from 02. Got them today and i dont think you have to top up to activate. I just did it and got £16.04 whoop
