seriousSaver, i was just having teh same problem, i rang 4444 anyway and then hung up, then tried step 2 again using the new sim, and managed it fine, i just couldnt skip the bit where it asks for email address otherwise it didnt work.

Now have £18.56 winging its way to my phone. Thanks OP :beer:

Hi sassygirl, didn't work for me but thanks all the same.

I have now tried with two new sims and a new code from step 1 every time - it is still not working. Cannot even get to the email address bit, it tells me I'm not eligible straight after the code and my phone number. Never mind, cannot win them all.

Help!!! Just called 2210 from my mobile and a message said that "my upgrade request was being processed and I would receive a text in a couple of days". Does this mean that my sim and mobile will be disconnected or what?!?

Oh no!! I bought a new sim card and just tried it now to get my £27 and it said i couldnt do it because the new sim is not from one of the latest handsets.

Can anyone advise me on which sim i need to get?

ty I just bought a sim for the total cost of 49p thats including postage , not bad as I can get £23.09 back onto my regular sim
