just tried to do this and it would not work....once put the new sim in and call to put in the auth code is says it needs some whenever it say ''press 1 '' when u are ready to say your email /confirm your name it just goes ''thank u for calling o2 goodbye'' grrr

i did this last time and was entitled to £60 this time it should be £53.22 but sas im not eligible when i go to step 2
oh well

Same for me, Step 1 goes okay then when I ring from the new sim to do Step 2 message says I am not eligible for this promotion

ps Indigo I had the same problem initially but pressed the hash key skipping out the email address. Worked fine after that. Good luck!

I just received "fresh", not out of date, sim from O2 but in Step 2 I am not eligible either : (

A silly question: Do I have to activate new sim via 4444 number before calling 2210 for Step 2? Could that be the problem? I didn't do it because I got through anyway.

Anyone knows? Don't want to let £8 go just like that : )
