I think you will find the offer is for upgrading an 02 existing phone - as the amount of credit is dependent on how much you have topped up with 02 - I dont think it will apply for changing networks

I used the above link and purchased a new SIM card. Did the first bit and was advised I am entitled to £16.04. On following the next instructions with new SIM card in phone, got a message that the SIM card was not eligible for this upgrade.

The SIM card did not come in the full plastic wallet, just the plastic credit card bit with SIM attached and a bit of card with the mobile and SIM numbers on. Sellers details on Ebay advised that £1 call credit would be allocated by O2 when registration process completed.

Is it worthwhile registering the SIM or is it just not going to work with this offer?

I'm assuming O2 have a record of SIM card numbers that are given away free and others that are included with new phones, and I have purchased a free one.

Not eligible either and they said I was due about £150! :eek: :eek: :eek: Might go to the o2 shop and treat myself to a new phone with that, then sell the old one on Ebay.
