Thanks to the flylady thread I was ready for my unexpected visitors this morning. Just needed to have a quick whizz round.
Not doing much the rest of today. Catching up on tv I've recorded.
Valli . Good luck.
Hugs where needed.0 -
Dancemum, Cyclingyorkie and Bossymoo big hugs for all of you at what is a difficult time for the 3 of you x
Goodintentions my Mum & Dad, brother and sister all have a dehumidifier and swear by it; we don't as DH too aware of the effect it'd have on the electricity but when you put that against the cost of having the boiler on to keep the house warm then I think it would come out about equal. Always good to research things isn't it.
Good luck Valli!
Pigpen you're doing fab with that jumper for OH. I've done the bottom ribbing and the front of the pouch pocket, now moving on up the body til I join the top of the pocket with the front and then keep going til I divide for front/back.
So grey and miserable here; took the kids to Remembrance Day parade (yes, I know it's a week late) - DD is a Scout and DS is a Beaver so we went to that, then went to Al*i but bad move; didn't have a meal plan or a list so will probably have to go again later in the week. Now chilling with a cup of tea and then must go and finish putting the last of the shopping away.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -

On Friday my house was as clean and tidy as its ever going to be it stayed that way for some of Saturday but now its awful.
Kitchen is full of dirty dished of Sunday dinner, dirty washing, clean wet washing, the dogs have pulled their beds all over. It will take about a hour to sort but i just cant be bothered with it at the moment.
The stairs are full of clean dry washing which needs taken upstairs to sort and iron.
My bedroom has my old bed in it still, the man with a van down the road, his van has broke down so he is fixing it as we speak.
Bath room needs a s&s and the whole house needs a hoover before we get unmanageable... I think a cuppa first tho!
Hugs to yous that need them, the sain$burys advert has just made me cry, you cant fake that kind of excitement .0 -
Afternoon all
Ironing basket empty shared task with OH
Mother fed finally got her to eat frozen plated meals from Mr M (bad daughter) we have our cooked meal in the evening and she doesn't like what we have.
Spoke to DF and we have been joking about the song "all I want for Christmas is my 2 front teeth" and he is looking forward to the fortune the tooth fairy is due to bring him. He is probably having the rest of his teeth out on Monday. I can not visit him as I have a stinky cold.
Wm x 3 done
S&s parents' house done
Rang other sister (has ME) to update her
CY & Bossy thinking of you both x
LW thank you
Valli good luck with your job application. Will miss you here especially as you was my nearest Flylady for a while. Hope you can pop in, in the holidays.
Everyone this is a so supportive community thank you all x0 -
Dancemum a friend of mine's Mum is waiting for a heart operation any time soon and I'm sure I remember my friend saying she had to have her teeth checked thoroughly and maybe even a couple removed before her op so I think this is normal procedure. I'd never heard of it before she told me. You're not a bad daughter giving your Mum a frozen plated meal from Mr M by the way!
Since my last post I've sorted a load of washing for tomorrow am, got rubbish together and put in black bin which is now outside awaiting collection tomorrow am, done paid stuff and been helping DD and her friend make an outfit for a doll on her sewing machine (my DD's that is, not the doll's!) Realised why I'm feeling a bit down - haven't had my SAD lamp for the past 2 mornings and I can definitely tell so been outside and cleaned out chooks, raked up leaves and swept the path.
Ironing to do later, want to strip our bed and need to get DS's football kit up together for tomorrow - probably will catch you laterFlymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
Hella everyone:wave:
Been following all the chat on here but flying very slowly as my fatigue has been bad. Have made a start on November challenge. Coffee table completely clear for first time in ages - cue panic from OH - where are my books, papers etc:rotfl:
Also cleaned sofa and changed throws to snuggly winter ones (did someone express a warning of snow?)
Hugs and spoons to all in need, especially those with difficult memories, house moves and medical challenges this month.
Will keep reading, and join you on next week's thread.

well this weekend I have managed to clean my bedroom; and kitchen and bathroom have been maintained by S&S and that will be it though I have done the washing/drying and all beds have been stripped and DD and I have had fresh bedding.
There really are not enough hours in the day.
Many thanks for all the good wishes; I do love the supportiveness here - and also the chance to vent 'safely' when needed.
