Away with the fairies :beer:0 -
Thanks everyone, it will just work out the way it is suppose to. No point getting worked up over it.
Flying wise the floors have been cleared and recycling all squeezed into the bin. DW emptied and reloaded, wm same. Front hall cleared and cleaned, stick box filled. I'm sure there is more that I've done just can't remember. :rotfl:
Gonna get the kitchen worktops cleared and wiped. Think me and kids may chill out and watch a Christmas movie, slightly obsessed by the movies at the minute.“Life is short, live it. Love is rare, grab it. Anger is bad, dump it. Fear is awful, face it. Memories are sweet, cherish it.”0 -
Hahaha DS got a grotty tissue and asked what to do with it, so I said there's a bin in my bathroom. Somehow he couldn't get the door open, so DD opened it
but its dark so he wouldn't go in... He went to the main bathroom and couldn't open that either, again his little sis did it.
Then she came back in and laughed saying "he's just being awkward" :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: she's only three hahahaBossymoo

Good evening
I have been awol, and I haven't caught up the fred yet, so hugs, sticks, spoons, etc, as needed.
I have done some ironing today (DH usually does it, but he has started his new job), sorted the kitchen & prepped dinner.
I have a question re dehumidifiers. As I was putting away DS's school shirts, I noticed lots of black mould on his bedroom wall  The wall was quite wet. I must admit, I don't go in there often (he is 15, why would I?). I pop my head round the door to wake him up, but it is dark then. He now has custody of his sister's hamster, so his door is kept shut all day & all night (we have a cat). His bedroom is tiny - and very smelly! (hamster & teenage boy is not a good mix!). I know some of you have dehumidifiers - would you recommend them? I didn't realise they were so expensive, so I want to spend wisely.

I have a 16Litre in MBR and a 20Litre dehumidifier downstairs. They are quite large but can get filled up in less than a day. They were from b& q.
We did try a mini one but it was rubbish.
We also used the hanging ones from lakelnd for wardrobe and kids room. We only have had a problem since we had cavity wall ins put him. We still do get mould in the corners of bedroom ceilings and around the silicon on windows & doors but it is better than with no dehumidifiers
Hospital have removed all DF bottom teeth and are going to remove all the others.
It has been a big shock fir us. It is something to do with preventing infection for his op. I'm getting really worried now as never heard of this before. My mum is not coping and my sister is hearing voices. (May have to remove all this soon)0 -
dancemum big massive hugs, hope your dad's op goes well and everything settles down. Is there a keyworker for your sister, maybe an idea to let them know how she is.. you have enough to deal with.
Kitchen worktops all cleared and wiped down, wm and td both on and I've washed my hair. Really need to get it coloured soon, I've purple dye in the bathroom but I've changed my mind and think i'd be better sticking to brown. :rotfl:
All kids snoring except Rhys. He can come with me, still an awful cough and temp has been up and down all day. Hope any other wee ones with croup is settling better tonight.“Life is short, live it. Love is rare, grab it. Anger is bad, dump it. Fear is awful, face it. Memories are sweet, cherish it.”0
