Healing vibes for the kids with croup, it is a very frightening ting for all concerned.
Going to put WM on and draw the curtains, I may or may not get to the ironing tonightThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
So many little ones with croup - hope they all improve soon.
Took DD riding today (scarey as horse was one she's never ridden before, was rather forward going and cantered round the school with her  - she ended up on a quieter one thankfully), then took her to gym. Did some flying, now DS in lounge with me with woodburner on; DD in her room with her friend and DH getting ready to go out on a drinks do tonight. Left over cottage pie for supper for me and the kids - yay for left overs!!Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
(Late) afternoon everyone :hello:
All five skids are here this weekend which has resulted in both cars boomeranging around all over Solihull all day. DH has just dropped the girls off at the ice rink and they're bussing it home so we get to clock off shortly.
Kitchen was tidy when I went to bed (10pm) but looked like a bomb had gone off this morning  so I gave it an hour-long blitz; doubt it will last but for now it's a-ok. Been into town for new school shoes for DS2 and managed to pick up "weekend" shoes for DS2 while we were there. DD didn't get anything but didn't complain, which makes a pleasant change
WM is almost done so that needs to be thrown at the airer, then onto dinner.
GWS to the poorlies and hugs to those in need xx
ETA: DH just called, ice rink doesn't open til 8pm(?!) so he's gone back to collect the girls. There goes the big telly for tonight0 -

Chilli con carne for tea??? That was my original plan, but DH chose baked beans for his jacket potato at lunchtime, so I've just changed the menu :rotfl:
Bossy, my children used to enjoy Captain Caveman. Makes me feel old!0
