Kaz you have just reminded me i need to dye my hair tonight.

Ds2 has been a very sad boy all morning and now he has just barfed everywhere, so he is now having formula milk as he is not interested in his water, hes falling asleep with it now so hopefully wake up in a bit, his normal smiley chatty self.

Some bedding in the washer on its final spin, we have all finished lunch so once ds2 is settled i will do dishes and hang out the sheets to dry.

Been out in garden for a good while!

Got bikes and scooters out for the kids, then brought everything out of the front half of the shed (the back half is just chairs and tables which are fine as they are). I have:
cut the grass, then brushed down the mower and box
got the garden vac over most of the leaves, crunched and composted
edited the various bags, boxes and bottles, fling
brushed out a stacking tub and washed, can reuse indoors
    found some recyclables, fling
replaced shed contents neater, leaving lots more space
left plastic slide and rocker at front for easy freegling this week (shhh)

There is room for a new B I K E for DS next month, poor little (bigger) moo has been riding round on a trike with only one pedal since spring :rotfl: although he does have scooter / balance bike and a tractor, so lots of wheels to be had. The old trike will exit the building very soon. It's completely trashed...

We've had lunch and now having some sofa time and playing with Lego. Think I'll make a cottage pie later. Feel quite pleased with myself...

Hello all. I haven't caught up with the thread, so hope everyone is ok. Not a lot of flying has been achieved here over the last few days as the paid stuff is mega busy and the house is in chaos while we empty DD's room ready for redecorating and new floor next week. See, a challenge I am actually doing.

    So far today I have:

    Walked the dogs
Got one washload done & on airer
Hoovered and mopped through the house
Cut the grass back and front
Done a couple of urgent paperwork jobs
    Washed and wiped the dishes
    Popped to local shops
Spent the last hour hour on here!

hope everyone is having a good day.
Spend less now, work less later.

Bossy, well done on the grass cutting, it is far too wet here for that, but mine could do with it.

    Sausage sandwich decluttered

I WILL clean the car next!

It wasn't a good start when I knocked over a pile of full pots of paint and the trade gloss white that I'd bought for the decorators (who are coming next week to do the HSL) spilt and spread everywhere  Fortunately it was in the utility on old vinyl flooring, and I had plenty of white spirit and old cloths and have got everything cleaned up except what went under the FF, which I can't move :o

DGS3 (9 months) has been in hospital overnight with croup, but is home again now :j

The day has improved as I have managed to emulsion 2 walls in our bedroom, DH has done the base coat of emulsion on the fresh plaster in the back bedroom, and the postman brought us a pretty card from my goddaughter :)

(((Hugs))) to all who need them, and :T:beer::T to all who have achieved so much flying this week.
  • glad your DGS is back home again, ive heard of quite a bit of coup around recently.
sorry to hear about the paint spill but glad your day is getting better

    Dailies done.
    Cat stuff done.

Been into town Xmas shopping. Didn't get everything I wanted though. Will pop back next week.

Off out with friends tonight to a talk by two crime writers so should be interesting.

    Hugs for everyone.
  • Been a horrible 24 hours, poor rhys ended up in out of hours and then onto the hospital. Poor pet has croup again and was so bad yesterday evening. He slept in with me last night and didn't waken until midday. He's still got a high temp today and awful cough, his voice has returned abit since last night.

OH decided to leave DS1 to football this morning because I was back late from the hospital but ended up putting the car into a cement post on the lane. Thankfully everyone was alright, post fine but car is damaged. So car has been towed to get fixed but man has said we'll probably not get the car back because motability will kick us of the scheme. Back seat that the boys have ruined with there knee's, the space is just so small there knees have rubbed the material away (we would replace before the car was due back), mileage too high and wear on gearstick and wear on floor near pedals. I'm gutted and have done nothing but cry all morning. They told me to get a coutisy(sp) car but we needed to pay £50 so had to ring my dad for a lend of money and then when I called back they said they can't get me a car until Monday so boys won't get to school. :(

So I'll know Friday if I have a car anymore and if I don't I need to get a cheap one quick.

Flying wise I've decluttered tears. Going to go now and pull myself together, 2 full days at home should see the house looking well. Plus i'm going to sell what I can on ebay at least then if I don't get the car back I can try and get another.
