I have the most amazing bouquet of flowers here. Ivory roses and lilies. Sadly not for me but for a neighbour. I will look out for her coming home so that I can surprise her on her doorstep with them and give her the fluttery wonderful feeling I had when I opened the door.
Off to get dressed shortly so I can continue with cleaning. Just finishing my coffee first.Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -
Hi everyone, slipping back in again. DS3 off school today, I think he actual is taking croup again so appointment with GP booked for 4pm.
DD starting to come down with the cold but away to school. Both DS1 and DS2 away to school in pj's to raise money for children in need and then DS1 is away to a b'day party.
Been a crazy few months here with charity and family stuff. Birthday parties every weekend since school started..
Been trying to keep up with flying and managed to get DD bedroom decorated, just need to fly harder and get the boys bedroom done.
Right best have a nosey at the list and see what I can get done over the weekend.
Hope everyone is well xx“Life is short, live it. Love is rare, grab it. Anger is bad, dump it. Fear is awful, face it. Memories are sweet, cherish it.”0 -
Both letting rooms and shower room sparkly, just in time for Lodger 1's arrival. Poor guy had been on a coach for 13 hours so he's a bit shell-shocked but seems very likeable. Lodger 2 due to arrive at 9.30 pm.
Now that all the urgent stuff is done for the week and a long-standing frog munched, I feel a bit debmob happy. Strange.Better is good enough.0 -
Really been attacking those frogs this morning - wrote a letter, sent an email, made phone calls I've been putting off and have to say it feels much better now it's done. Had a lovely walk with DH before lunch; took Pip and she always looks so happy to be out and you can't help but smile! DH seems a lot less depressed than last week so all good
Feeling cold so going to do a cuppa then light the fire and get some ironing done whilst watching the GB Sewing Bee; only now got into it so have been watching the episodes on the iPlayer. Then might do a bit more bathroom work but have to say the idea of going on my hands and knees scrubbing the floor doesn't appeal as back's hurting.
Honey Bear glad new lodger seems nice.
Vanilla nice to see you, seems like you've been mega busy!
Kaz2904 what a shame the flowers weren't for you - never mind, the neighbour will be thrilled won't she
Mrs-MP yum to free breakfast! I do like a nice big breakfast to set you up for the day. Hope you enjoyed your cross stitching
Nicki nice that you and DD can do winter prep together. My DD is just starting to sew (we're sort of learning together as we go and loving it); and loves making things. Growing up so fast - can't believe she's 11 on 27.11. How old is your DD?Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
Weekly 'puter maintenance tasks are under way. Bonnie has been fed and walked, and we've decluttered another small mattress worth of fur from her, and vacuumed up what ended up on the carpet. I've also done her ears with the ear cleaner she brought with her, as she was flapping them about a bit this morning, like they were irritating. She's currently decluttering zzzz's on the lounge floor.:D
As is often the case when Mr LW has an early shift and wfh, I did too much yesterday, so I'm very shaky today. I really am sick and tired of constantly feeling sick and tired.:(
GWS wishes to Bossy's Dad - collarbone injury sounds painful, poor man!If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Bed is finally here whoop OH even likes it.
Have rang landlord to report leaky radiator, he has been out had look and is ringing round plumbers now tring to find someone free now to cap off or fix depending on how long it will take to do. So we have no water at the moment i think i am going to walk to morrisons with the boys, take the double pushchair and buy some bottled water possibly some alcohol too haha I probably wont but its a nice idea.
I hope we are all well, i have read back but nothings sunk in.0
