Wrong direction! Step for a hint- 200 miles NORTH of Manchester!

Sorry you've got a sore chest WTBSE :( hope it doesn't come to anything.

I'd quite like to be in France right now- a bit of dry weather, some good cheese and wine!

How are you this morning WTBSE?

    Morning All :)

I feel a bit better today thanks.

I am only working 9-12.15 today, so am going to go food shopping at Aldi after work. I WILL go! No more putting it off. I wont have time on Thursday or Friday, so it's either today or Saturday.

I also need to do this weeks budget as I haven't done it yet. I think i'll have about £120 to save this week, but I am not sure. I'll work that out later.

Also I need to phone tax credits and get my payments made to monthly.

Anyway, I need to go and get ready for work. Have a great day everyone!

Paris? ... which is where I am!! Yay!!! Missing home though (no really). It's cold and grey here too, not Florida weather.

Hope your chest gets better, WantToBeSE. :(

I hope you are having a great time in Paris, Cathy! How long are you there for?

    So today I have:

    -Been to work
-Been food shopping at Aldi and then Morrisons (YES, I actually did not put it off for a change!!)
-Changed my Tax Credits over to 4-weekly.

I went food shopping today! I cant believe I didn't put it off :D The main reason was that its such a lovely spring day here, and the heavy rain is forecast as from tomorrow. Its much nicer to lug food shopping in and out of the car in nice weather then it is to do the same in wet weather! Spent £43 in Aldi and £23 in morrisons (that did include the 3 for £10 meats-a whole chicken, 2 gammon steaks and a nice big pack of diced beef). I should get about 6 meals for the 3 of us from that meat :)

Feeling much better now too, thanks everyone :)

So, it'll be a tight 4 weeks until my next payment of Tax Credits. I just thought it would be easier to do it 4 weekly as I want to get used to monthly/4-weekly pay. If )or when) UC comes in, it'll all be monthly, and I also used to get paid monthly at my old job and it worked out fine.
They said that I may get an interim payment within the next few weeks, but I am not banking on it.

I am going to be getting this Fridays payment as usual, so I am going to sit down and do some budgeting this evening. I am a bit nervous about the month ahead as it means I wont be able to save anything until I get my first 4-weekly payment.

Never mind, its all worth it!
