Those juices sound lovely atush, especially the celery, apple, cucumber and ginger one
I wonder if a smoothie would taste good with those ingredients? I might try it later.
Need to send out my invoices tomorrow, so will get on with that this afternoon, after i have done the food shopping.0 -
kinda hard to smoothie ginger, i'd squeeze some thru a garlic press to get the juice and leave the fibers behind?
Hows the hand? Did the EMT call?0 -
Morning All
Went to Morrisons shopping yesterday, as i had a £5 M&M voucher, pluss a £1 off voucher from Burgen after complaining that the bread i bought had holes through it.
My total, after using coupons was £45.58. But this does include £5 of their saving stamps which i am saving towards Christmas.
I also got a £7 off a £50 shop voucher, which i will use next week.
I also won 200 M&M points with their Saturday Night Takeaway thing.
I now have £90 to last me until the 20th March.
atush- the hand iss fine now thanks. Took a while to heal, but once it did it was really quick.
Yes, the paramedic did call, but i dont think thats going anywhere. I reckon he was only after 1 thing (if you catch my drift) so didn't continue it.
The sun is shining today, so i will drag the boys out for a walk in the forest. We could all do with some exercise!
What is everyone else doing?0 -
Atush, your juices sound amazing! Glad you're enjoying your new gadget.
Glad it's sunny where you are wtbse, it's absolutely abysmal here today. Torrential rain and hailstones
My son and I were up early this morning, visited my folks then went to Aldi. Got all the shopping in for £47 so not too bad.
My husband is hungover (annual football night out) so while my son is napping, I'm going to start making a cottage pie for during the week and some savoury muffins for his Lunches this week (to have with salad another bits)
Other than that, it'll be a quiet one for me!CC1: £4481.14/ £5031.14 (12% paid off, £600) | CC2:£3307/ £3807 (14.4% paid off, £550) | Loan: £10,528.20/ £15,792.30((33% paid off, £5,264))

Hello, I haven't posted on here in a little while, but I'm back and up to date with the thread.
I managed to save £847.44 in February, so quite chuffed with that. Went over my budget, but only by about £20 so also quite pleased with that. Went over as I went out last to a 80s night out which was really good! Spent about 4 hours dancing!
For March, my savings should be £818.99 if I stick to my budget, but it's only the 1st and I feel like I've spent loads. Went to Asda, Tesco and Iceland this morning! Eek! If I'm good during the week and have lots of no spends, I should be okay. Seeing as I'm at work and planning not to drink wine (had enough last night!) then I should back on track hopefully.Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010

Pollyanna, it looks like you're doing great! You're going to be well on your way to your target before long.
My actual savings aren't going too well, been a busy couple of weeks for bills and spends
My brother in law finally coughed up for the money that he has owed us since Christmas tonight! I totally forgot and we reminded him last month so that's good to get that back. I hate asking people for money even if they owe me it.
Quite a bit was coins so I put £17 into my £ tin, so quite pleased with that.CC1: £4481.14/ £5031.14 (12% paid off, £600) | CC2:£3307/ £3807 (14.4% paid off, £550) | Loan: £10,528.20/ £15,792.30((33% paid off, £5,264))

Hello everyone. I hope you are all well and doing well on the MSE front. I've been AWOL for a few weeks due to internet problems but im back. Did I miss anything exciting?
I have my fingers crossed that my car doesn't cost that much from it's joint service and MOT next week. And the road tax bill came in through the post today for the end of the month. Bloody cars
Could do with a payout or 2 from TopCashBack to balance the books.
MrCFSaving for that dream holiday0 -
Morning All
I am having a bit of a reality check at the moment in regards to my savings. It's not going as well as it could, i could definitely save more and i am annoyed that i havent.
So i am going to work out why and where i have been going wrong, why i have been over spending, and set myself some new goals.
I also realised that i could start my therapist training this year, as the college allows students to pay in instalments.
Lots to think about.0 -

How did you reckon that? And that 1 thing is an important part of life lol ;D0 -
