After what you've been through it takes time to build trust again. I think you're tackling it the right way, and I see a determined lady.
If you keep being open with your husband the trust will rebuild and it'll get easier for you both. It's got to be hard on him as much as it was on you.
You'll be fine, because you have the right mind set and frame of mind x

It sounds like he's hurt, the trust has been badly damaged. Remind him he married you for better or for worse and this is your worst. Don't be angry at him, I recommend counselling (relate) because I strongly believe marriage is for life and if you work through the worst then anything is possible x
My heart goes out to you xxx

Poor you x
Unfortunately it takes 2 to make a marriage work. My ex refused counselling too
But yours is the most positive attitude I've seen to debt management in a long time. Whatever you do, don't loose that. Stay focused, prove you really are changed.
Maybe it'll make a difference to your relationship, maybe it won't. Either way it WILL make your life so much better, fuller and richer.
I hope for your sake he realises that marriage isn't something you set aside when it gets hard. It's something you work at... Because it's damn hard at times x

Oh loxxee, big hug. I'll be back to check on you.
All I will say, is people sometimes react emotionally to things, so he may need time to come round. I would think the process follows almost the bereavement process, from denial to acceptance. It must have been a shock and your husband is obviously feeling unsettled....
Try to remain calm and support him through it as much as you can. Chat later x* * * Catriona's Credit Card Countdown * * * from -£16k to debt neutraldom - for my debt diary click here

Oh, Loxxee, I am so sorry, chick - I can't do anything other than to let you know you are in my thoughts at, what is, a horrible time for you both. He obviously really loves you as he's 'stuck' with you until now, but his faith's been shattered and he probably needs to lash out. Try to stay strong and do keep coming back here for support. Am happy for you to PM me if you want to, at any time.0
