I feel sorry for private companies being bombarded with peoples cvs every day. There isnt a job for everyone, the government should create more jobs not cut them. Bit of a cheek expecting the private sector to service everyone. They really should take a look at themselves. Go out therecand fly the flag for Britain and create more jobs. Other countries do it.
The UK is leading the world when it comes to 'flying the flag' in economic matters.0 -

That's really weird. If someone calls up that sounds like a good candidate then I want them to be able to contact me. Why would I not?
You seem to have very strange ideas about the world of work, relative to mine, we must have worked in very different environments, I think.0 -

What do you think that they are going to do with it? Do you imagine that people are calling up employers, with enough knowledge about them to give a good job pitch, then collecting email addresses, one at a time, to sell to Nigerian scammers?
For one thing, if someone is qualified to work for me then they are listed on Bloomberg, and I can check them out while on the phone. Even if they were not, though, there is nothing wrong with helping someone out. I want good staff, they are hard to find. Putting obstacles in their way is not a good idea.0 -
