OMG.
So explain how they propose to print it out then?0 -

Fact is it's called JSA for very obvious reasons, however unpalatable that may be for you.0 -

You can call and ask for a company's email address. This has the advantage of making sure that the email reaches the right person. You should be calling before posting anyway, as you may otherwise finnd yoru letter ending up in the wrong person's in tray, and never making its way to where it needs to be.0

As an employer, I do expect emails, even if a hard copy is also sent. I'm not going to scan and distribute copies, and if somoene is a possible candidate, I will need to share their information.
And I will not "forget" a godo candidate, however they've chosen to contact me.0 -

The first point is simply incorrect. My email is not published anywhere, but if someone interesting called up asking about a job with me, I'd happily give it to them.
The second point just comes across as an excuse, I'm afraid. A few minutes on the phone with the occasional company whose email address you cannot find is not going to cost very much. Even if it did, though, you need to do whatever it takes to find work. It's your responsibility, and excuses don't change that.0 -

I do not intend to carry people's CVs around the office with me. I do, though, normally have my iPPad, which has all of my work emails on it.
I'm not clear, have you had a lot of success with your methods, or are you sticking with them in the face of them not working?0 -
