Libraries and a few other places often have free internet access, walking there is free and good for your health.
Not at all you have to pay at my library and there is no guarantee that you can get on a computer and its set to 30 mins at a time and you go back to the end of the waiting mass of people.

Did you see the word "often" in my post. Do you know what it means?
I can see why you are unemployed now.

Not if you include the price of internet and a phone line at home. Electricity you wouldn't be using if at work and wear and tear on your laptop etc.

Go to the library. Its already been paid for. And whilst doing that switch off all engery uses at home.

I know of no where that offers free wi fi - you have to be a customer surely.

If i remeber rightly the oxford brookes uni library shuts at midnight. Oxford uni has 100 libraries so openeing times will vary.
Lakeside shopping centre has free wifi across the entire centre allegedly. Maccy d, weather spoons, and costa also give out free wifi...im guessing this is quite a long list in reality.

But not may people live near universities and to take advantage of the 'free' wifi at restaurants etc you need a laptop (one that has a working battery). I don't have a laptop :(.

Most of our larger libraries in Glasgow offer free wifi as well as free computer use.
Starbucks give our free wifi, iCafe give you an hour for a facebook like.

I know it doesn't help AP007 but it might help someone.
